I had no expectations on this, especially for the price. It takes a second to get used to, (read the instructions on turning) but once you do it's a lot of fun. Easy to do loops and tail slides, battery lasts for a good 15-20 minutes, and the range has been phenomenal. The led lights under the wings give it that little extra cool factor at dusk. Find an open field and enjoy!

This is a basic beginner RC plane made of a durable foam. The aircraft being made a foam survives a lot of abuse when it’s crashed and still remains intact. The controls for this aircraft are more basic than a normal RC plane and you have the benefit of a Gyro that is constantly helping you keep the aircraft orientated correctly. You are supplied two batteries which give decent run times and there is always a battery ready to install. In the event of crashing, you are also supplied spare propellers for the two motors that are used to propel this aircraft. The aircraft is large enough and colorful enough that you can easily keep your eyes on it when flying, as well as understand its orientation. With our use of this aircraft, we’ve had plenty of crashes, and it has been very durable. One thing to be aware of is that this performs best in light or no wind conditions, as it cannot cope with anything more. This is a fun way to experience an RC aircraft at a very reasonable price.

This little RC foam plane turned out to be way more fun than I expected. The foam design makes it durable enough to handle bumps and crashes without breaking, which takes away the stress of letting kids give it a try. The two included batteries provide about half an hour of total flight time, which is plenty for a play session. The colorful lights make the plane easy to see against the evening sky and give you an idea which way the plane is travelling, which can be confusing. The best part for me was how easy it was for my 8 year old son to fly. The built in gyroscope really does work when it comes to stability, so he was able to hand launch it, get it into the air, and keep it flying with ease. Usually RC planes have a steep learning curve, but he had it figured out within minutes. Overall, this plane is lightweight, durable, and incredibly beginner friendly. It’s a great choice for families looking for something that kids and adults can both enjoy together outdoors. Highly recommended.

The foam RC plane is a solid pick if you want something easy to fly but still exciting. Setup was quick, and once in the air it felt stable thanks to the gyro—it practically levels itself, which takes the stress out of flying. The SU-27 fighter jet design is a nice detail, and it actually looks pretty slick when cruising across the yard. The foam body is forgiving, so bumps into the ground or trees didn’t do much damage. With two batteries, you can swap out and keep going without cutting the fun short. The LED lights are brighter than I expected, and they really stand out after dusk. It’s beginner-friendly, resilient, and fun enough that even adults will want a turn.

The media could not be loaded. The plane itself is lightweight. Assembly could be easier, but I actually enjoyed putting it together with my 4-year-old. Adding the stickers made him feel involved in the process. The plane is made of strong Styrofoam with a coating that makes the surface more resistant to damage. The lights add a really cool touch, especially when flying in the evening sky. Taking off from the ground is exciting to watch, and my kids loved it every time. Once airborne, the plane is fairly easy to control, but you’ll need a large open space to really enjoy it. I wouldn’t recommend letting a young child handle the controller alone—an adult or older child is better suited for that. A big warning: if it’s even a little windy, the plane becomes very hard to maneuver and nearly impossible to land smoothly. Landing is tricky even in calm conditions, but since it’s so light, dropping it close to the ground doesn’t usually cause damage. Overall, the amount of fun this plane provides makes it well worth the price. I would definitely recommend it, especially for families with young kids looking for a fun, beginner-friendly RC plane.
