I'm not a surveyor or anything so I felt a bit fraud-y saying that the accuracy was great, but it's just fine for my level of work, I'm using it to layout footings etc for a small garden shed, and it hits my registration marks every time that I set it back up. I bought a detector as well, but often don't need it unless the sun is shining right on my 'target' because the green line is well visible. I like the fact that it's supplied with two rechargeable batteries so you're never down and waiting, although I haven't yet drained my first battery, and I've used it for a few hours. Regarding value for money, I don't recall what it cost, but I think it was comparable to others on offer, and within reason it doesn't matter much. It's vital that a tool perform its function, and you just have to pay for that. Years ago I bought a red, non-self-levelling one, and it was very faint even indoors, and a giant pain to level every time - lesson learned, don't be cheap. Obviously it's too early to consider long term durability, but since it came with a case to protect it, I hope that it will be fine for a long time.

A rather remarkable, and believe it or not well priced and decently laid out overall laser level package that pacts a lot of capabilities and add-ons for the price. Without a doubt this is one laser level that is out to compete with some high line "major name brand" levels I've used in my time and at this price it could just win. Assuming you've used a laser level such as this for say molding, chair rail, crown, etc.. or other such needs you'll find this is a decent level, easy to use, and for the most sized room/environments it works great. (Note the larger the room the further out the beam is cast and this is where some folks can spend lots of money just to get a crisp line just a few feet further out between different levels) More on this later If you're just getting this as a first time level for projects and have this kind of money to spend I'd say its a great package to start if not a bit overwhelming in some ways and really it has some decent functionality too it. You will need a tripod for some (or many it depends) applications but those are affordable enough and with the level it will not matter if they are high end or not as the level does a decent job self leveling. So, to break this down on a different view, say from product descriptions. Can this beam reach 98FT (130FT with receiver but that's not included), yes but your likely to need optimal conditions such as not being in mostly direct sunlight. Also note as you go further out the light does well but it may not be as crisp or easy to see as more HIGH end levels which can really start to run up in price. Is the green light better than red, to me, YES, however, as many will state, this is not great in highly lit up spaces you might find those glasses provided helpful in seeing the laser VS just the naked eye. Overall where would I place this level.... Upper Mid Ranger to perhaps even High range (lower side). If your getting this for a professional worker who would use this every day I'd say its a good gift, my only pause is the durability rating on this unit is IP54 where as I'd prefer to see something more of 6 or more for both ratings like IP66 but really, again, these types of ratings cost more money and for this device and most usages I'd say IP54 is fine.

Firstly, a tripod is needed to use this properly. They come with special enhance glasses that I didn't feel had much benefit. It comes with a bracket to hang it along with a lifting base and a few more extras. I personally don't think the extras it comes with are the most useful. A tripod would have been much more useful. It does come with two batteries which is nice. It can be charged with the battery on the level which is handy, or the battery can be charged separate from the level. The level comes with a battery charger to charge batteries. The case it comes with is great quality and has been proven to be durable so far. t has a remote control which is convenient. I have used it in a room that was about 40ft long indoors general lighting, and I can see laser at the farthest distance of the room, but it does get a little dim at those distances. I use it regularly for framing, putting in multiple electrical boxes, running conduit - just making sure everything is being ran level/straight. It has proven to be accurate every time I have used it. I would say that this level is comparable to some high end models. It's a very good value overall, but it would be nice if it had come with a tripod.

The build quality of this laser is excellent. It comes in a very nice case along with 2 batteries and a plethera of various attachments. The batteries charge quickly. The laser is very bright. I was able to clearly see it in the light conditions in my home. The laser housing feels sturdy and rugged. I'm sure it can withstand bumps and short drops.

I got this laser level to help me with all the tile renovations we are doing in house and I have to say everything from the case to level is definitely professional quality and it's also really easy to use, the laser themselves are a deep green so they are easy to see and I really like that this laser has 4 total beams, 2 vertical and 2 horizontal, it has really helped me lay the tile floor in my kitchen nice and straight, another thing I like is that this level comes with 2 rechargeable batteries and they have lasted me pretty much all day, it also comes with a cool little keychain remote control that you can use to switch the laser around, the laser is also self leveling, which has really been handy, my house is older so everything from the walls to the floors are not level anymore, another cool feature is that the laser level has ¼ inch screw hole in the bottom of it so it can be used on a tripod as well, the kit also comes with a magnetic bracket, a target plate, a metal lifting base and a pair of green lens glasses. Overall I am really impressed with the quality and performance of this laser level, I would absolutely recommend this level for a diy'er or a professional, and in my opinion it's definitely worth the price.
