Our yellow lab tore apart a normal crate one day, the broken pieces cut her on the head. Nothing terrible but we knew we needed something heavier for her. Found this cage, didnt love the price but needed something overkill for our dog. this thing is fantastic, it is heavy duty and has plenty of room for our full grown dogs and there is no way she is going to break out of it. couple things to note- *the latches are a little short but they hold well. i was concerned at first when i saw how shallow they went in. *The cage is too big to fit through most doorways when assembled so put it together where you want it to go. *assembly is easy and quick If you have a dog that you worry could break one of the standard crates then this is the crate for you! ... show more

My dog would freak out at storms and literally destroy a regular kennel when I was at work and a storm hit. I had to use zip ties to keep the kennel together and prevent him from bending the metal. With this one he hasn't even attempted to escape. He actually prefers to be in the kennel for eating and even when I leave the door open he will hang out in the kennel. Very sturdy and thank goodness for the wheels, makes moving it around so easy. The slide out tray and raised bed make it a breeze to clean. Highly recommend for anyone who has a feisty or just beast of a dog. Very well made and thoughtful features like being able to open it from the top. Bonus: the finish looks good too. ... show more

The only reason for the 4 stars was the "metal pan" the pup stands on. Yes. We added a bed! It is a nice heavy weight 'pan' but would be nicer if it was more a solid floor pan with slots than this wire. Couldn't believe it came 3 days earlier than earliest arrival time. KUDOS to the seller! Good industry crate if you have a dog that eats walls, furniture and etc… also some of the other reviews were bad about the bolts and screws it’s just like anything else you have to align the holes up in order for it to work. And the wheels do lock. Don’t let the bad reviews of people that can’t assemble something so simple put you off on this crate cause it almost did for me it’s a good one worth the money… ... show more

This crate is fantastic! My 80 lbs lab that has destroyed walls , doors , and regular metal crates due to bad weather and fireworks has yet to get out of this one ! The only thing I don’t like is the top horizontal gate latch falls off . You’ll have to glue the knob that goes into the metal rod but that’s it ! ... show more
