  • Sturdy and nice looking
Size: 42 inch
This is a very sturdy, and well made kennel, it looks great and the latches work great to keep my Catahoula inside, specially when the neighbors decide to make their own 4th of July on a monthly basis and he gets scare when we are not home. It is a heavy kennel, but the wheels makes it a breeze to move around, it is a great size it fits my Catahoula! ... show more

  • Large, but nice
Size: 48 inch
Came way faster than what I was told, easy to put together. So far it’s holding up & my dog seems to enjoy the space (he’s about 65lbs lab mix). It is loud which my dog isn’t a fan of but I added a blanket & that seems to help.

  • Great kennel!
Size: 48 inch
Our bloodhound loves this thing. She has a lot of anxiety and she chooses to hang out in here all the time. We got her a memory foam bed for it and she’s very comfy. The wide slats on the bottom are ideal for support and the tray catches all the wood crumbs from her favorite stick. She’s about 65lbs and 3 years old and she can sit upright comfortably and sprawl out fully. It seemed easy to put together and it’s built really well. I will say that the metal panels sometimes make a loud echo if you press on them but we plan to get a fabric cover to dampen it. Use the ring locks on the front door because she has figured out how to bounce the kennel slightly and unlatch the doors ... show more

  • It's worth it overall
Size: 48 inch
I bought this for our anxious senior lab with CDS after she panic ate carpet and needed a foreign body surgery. She can't be trusted alone or unsupervised and while she hates kennels and tries to eat them, this one has kept her in. I was very specific when searching for a kennel for her as I didn't want any sharp edges I knew she'd hurt her teeth on and thought she did okay in the vet ones that have solid sides so one similar would be best. Don't get me wrong, she hates this thing, but it's large enough that at 70 lbs, she's able to circle it easily and stand at full height, lay down however she wants, and the solid sides and tray have helped with her accidents. She hasn't broken out, but she has broken a tooth on the front chewing. It has wear from her teeth somehow on the flat sides. I don't consider this a negative feature, I just would have liked it to be more sturdy in that aspect. It's an overall great kennel even if she hates it, but she can't be trusted to be safe on her own. I would still definitely recommend it if you need easy cleaning and a very large aesthetically pleasing space. I think the hook part of the latch is the only downside, I could see a very strong dog being able to get out of this and that latch doesn't have enough of a hook to stay securely shut. It has so far but it's very easy to open from the outside. ... show more

  • Best Heavy Duty Dog Kennel Ever!
Size: 48 inch
Do not buy any other so called "heavy duty" kennel. I have a very large dog, an Anatolian Shepherd. He is 8 months old and weighs almost 90 pounds. He loves to chew anything and everything. Generally not a problem when home with redirecting him, but when we leave the house -- BIG problem. This boy has been through 2 "heavy duty" kennels. None of them could hold him for very long. He can chew through the bars and lift up the wire ends, bending up the floor and crawling out. The kennels are ruined beyond repair and my dog has ingested heaven knows what before I get back home. This kennel is GREAT!! It is truly heavy duty. They give you all the tools to put the kennel together and easy to understand directions with real pictures. It took my husband and I around 15 to 20 minutes to unpack it from the box, carry it to the location we wanted it (the box is very heavy), and put it together. All the while impressed with how solid it is. It was so easy to put together and it looks as if this is the last kennel we will have to buy for our dog. Very, very happy with this kennel so far! ... show more

  • This kennel is awesome
Size: 48 inch
I had recently adopted a Cane Corso from my local shelter and, as it turn out, he has high separation anxiety. He tore through other kennels like paper bags, so needless to say I was skeptical about finding one that would hold him properly. I ordered this, and when it came it was easy assembly (I put it together by myself) and is extremely sturdy. I would imagine it would go without saying, but it's bulky when taken apart making it difficult to transport if needed depending on what vehicle you have and what else you have to take with you. He not only cannot tear this apart, but he's going in with no issue and has plenty of room to lay, stretch out, turn around or sit up while inside. I highly recommend this for anyone needing something a lot stronger that what they already have. ... show more

  • Not escape proof
Size: 48 inch
I wanted to love this, it's exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunitly the locking latch does not sit over the bar all the way and allows my dog to wiggle the gate just right to where she can open it. For 225$ I wasn't expecting to have to modify the latches to make them work properly. As others have mentioned it is quite loud. The back and sides are just tack wielded on with no cross supports to keep the metal from clanging link a hollow gong when my pup wags her tail. I expected some noise as the while thing is metal but omg! I will have to add some sound deadening material to solve this as well as either replace the latching mechanisms or modify them. It looks like the slot that allows the latch to slide up and down was misaligned when it was made. The holes for the clips to keep the lock in place are drilled to far down for the small clips that were provided to be effective. All in all I should have listened to the bad reviews. I'm keeping it since it is assembled and packing it back up would be a pain. If you plan to purchase this expect to have to do a lot of modifications to make it worth it. I would recommend finding something else better built. Not worth the price they are asking!! ... show more
