This crate is enough large for my 5 months Golden retriever. Hi is super comfortable on it. He can sit down and stretch his legs with no problem. The metal walls are noisy when he touch them, but we are getting used to it. I will prefer something more open like the front part but I rather have the space than the view. Very sturdy cage and well made. My German Shepherd seems to be comfortable and happy with cage. Another great thing is the slatted floor is very sturdy and all dust and dirt or whatever falls to tray underneath and keeps inside pretty clean. So far my dog is not had an accident inside the Cage even though it's made for that. Only cons are you have to make sure the latch is locked by pushing on the top part of it and wiggling door. Also cage can be pretty noisy if they move around a lot or want to get out.

So I have had many kennels my dog likes to not be locked up in a kennel and will break out. This is the only one that he can not get out of and tear up/escape. For the price it's worth it. The only thing I don't like is the door latch is not that great. It is big and bulky which kinda sucks.. but it does it's job saving my house from being destroyed from him. But it is a nice kennel.

I had recently adopted a Cane Corso from my local shelter and, as it turn out, he has high separation anxiety. He tore through other kennels like paper bags, so needless to say I was skeptical about finding one that would hold him properly. I ordered this, and when it came it was easy assembly (I put it together by myself) and is extremely sturdy. I would imagine it would go without saying, but it's bulky when taken apart making it difficult to transport if needed depending on what vehicle you have and what else you have to take with you. He not only cannot tear this apart, but he's going in with no issue and has plenty of room to lay, stretch out, turn around or sit up while inside. I highly recommend this for anyone needing something a lot stronger that what they already have.

Do not buy any other so called "heavy duty" kennel. I have a very large dog, an Anatolian Shepherd. He is 8 months old and weighs almost 90 pounds. He loves to chew anything and everything. Generally not a problem when home with redirecting him, but when we leave the house -- BIG problem. This boy has been through 2 "heavy duty" kennels. None of them could hold him for very long. He can chew through the bars and lift up the wire ends, bending up the floor and crawling out. The kennels are ruined beyond repair and my dog has ingested heaven knows what before I get back home. This kennel is GREAT!! It is truly heavy duty. They give you all the tools to put the kennel together and easy to understand directions with real pictures. It took my husband and I around 15 to 20 minutes to unpack it from the box, carry it to the location we wanted it (the box is very heavy), and put it together. All the while impressed with how solid it is. It was so easy to put together and it looks as if this is the last kennel we will have to buy for our dog. Very, very happy with this kennel so far!

One week after I bought this, my dog had the worst episode of diarrhea of his life. Had I not bought it, it would have flown straight through the wire on his old crate and painted the walls. Instead, this one was very easy to clean, doesn’t make a ton of noise, and eases his anxiety with the dark walls that blocks out more light. I love the latch, very dog proof ( I have an escape artist). Overall very great quality and I won’t go back to old wire crates

My husky/german shepherd is a very determined little escape artist. He was tearing up his old kennel so we opted for this one! Its huge, and while it was easy to assemble but cant really be moved from place to place without taking it apart which is a bummer for boarding. Ultimately none of that matters because I wanted something that was safe for my dog. He is for sure not getting out of this kennel but I could not give it 5 starts. The slates are the bottom do have gaps and my dog got his foot stuck in between. Ive never heard him yelp like that so it was very alarming, luckily I had just gotten home so I could help him get his foot out but I had to take the removable tray from the bottom and put it in the kennel because I'm afraid it will happen when I am not home. I guess I would rather him possible chew that up than him get hurt again but it makes me nervous for sure!
