Eventually got this together and looks ok, but required a lot of common sense and ingenuity. The directions said to put "F" on the bottom but none of the holes lined up. Turned out top and bottom pieces had to be switched, and the top piece had completely different mechanism for attachment than what was in the directions (piece looked completely different), so I had to figure that out while being misdirected. In addition, the frontispiece that hold the door magnets then had no predrilled holes so I had to make some assumptions on placement based on the grainy picture and some envisioning, then had to force the screws in (FYI screwdriver not included). Lastly, my advice is to not cinch anything down until the last piece is on and final screw is in. It doesn't really all lock together until the end, making getting that last screw in a little tricky. I had to turn it on its side and shimmy it. Putting doors on too was no joke, I ended up having to make my own holes (power screws in again) to ensure the door would close. Still the handles don't quite look aligned and I may decide to address that later. All in all you I got the job done and it looks like the picture, but I'm feeling way more handy than I should for an IKEA-grade hunk of cheap wood. ... show more

Putting together the product and top brace was put pin nailed backwards. In order to finish process we would have to pry these pieces apart. Everything about the piece is cheap, cheap , cheap. Very disappointed.

This is very pretty and seemingly easy to put together, but it's really a 2-person job. I did it by myself and it took about 2 and a half hours. After all was said and done, the screw holes don't line up quite right with the hinges for the doors. I had to screw, unscrew and re-screw several times. One door still doesn't hang quite right and I may have to tweak it further. Also, there was some dings and scrape damage from shipping, but fortunately I have some furniture scratch repair pens. 5 stars for appearance, 2 stars for ease of assembly. ... show more

The piece itself is very pretty and seems sturdy, but was close to impossible to put together. Luckily my husband is very handy and was able to cut pieces to fit and get extra brackets to get the doors to go on straight. He has built furniture from scratch and he struggled to get these piece to fit properly. You can tell in this pic that the doors don’t not line up and he needs to get an extra bracket to fix them. ... show more

I love the originality of the design. It’s a nice piece of furniture, and it is easy to assemble. However, I think the price is a little high for the quality. It’s very lightweight.
