This has heavy duty steel bars, a secure latch, top access if needed. It's 90+ lbs, easy to assemble(it would have easier with another person but manageable with one) it has lockable casters. I have a 5 month old German shepherd puppy, she outgrew her first kennel. This new kennel is big enough that she may not need another as an adult. Easy to set up. Sturdy. My girl doesn’t try to get out but she would not be able to if she tried. It’s about the size of a crib.

We have gone through multiple gates and dog crates trying to keep our dog in while we aren’t home. They have broken out of or chewed through everything until this! This crate is durable and worth all its money and then some. It cleans up easy when messes are made with the slip tray underneath. By far my favorite purchase for our dog. I think this is a sturdy, well designed crate. It goes together nicely and the directions are clear. I have used other crates in the past that I have not been comfortable with the safety or security because they seem flimsy. I suppose nothing is fool proof, but I cannot imagine my dog escaping this. I needed a bigger size from the one I ordered and I have never had such great customer service and resolution!     • Careful on the "Actual" measurements for your XL dogs

My issue is with the measurements. It's 47.25 in length. Not 48. It is 30inches wide. But here's the real problem it's only 28.75 inches bottom to top that your dog can actually use. I have a XL dog and he will probably out grow this in a few months. Because he is tall and a cane corso. His ears almost stick out the top. Easy to put together. Heavy and seems sturdy. ... show more

This crate is incredibly durable. It’s huge, but so is my dog. I have a 60 pound pit he loves it and so do my three boys. It’s big enough for him to be comfortable in it in room to move. The locks seem a little flimsy but so far they hold up. I like the removable tray on the bottom it makes for easy cleaning. The only thing I do not like is that to break it down you have to unscrew the bolts every single time and to set it back up. You gotta screw them back in every single time. ... show more
