I am using this power adapter with a 2018 HP Spectre x360 15" 4k i7 w/ Nvidia MX150. The best part of is charger is the right angle usb c plug as opposed to the OEM straight HP plug that sticks out. Usually, when I plug in my laptop, the wall outlet is behind, infront, under, or to the left, ect. and not directly to the right of my laptop. With any movement of the laptop, ie from table top to lap will cause stress on a straight plug in the socket vice little to no stress on the right angle plug since the power socket is on the right of the laptop. Now onto why I gave this charger only 4 stars instead of 5. When this charger is plugged in, the laptop will prompt "HP recommends using an original power adapter..." which is very annoying. Before buying this adapter, I compared the power output of this adapter to the original. Most of the Amps and Volts output are the same except when you get to 20V (20V 2.25A vs 20V 5A). The only other difference I can spot is this adapter is 45W vs 90W (HP OEM). The only problem I can see with this is perhaps when you are taxing the Nvidia MX150 graphics card and cpu with a game. Then, the power input may not equal the power consumption. I have not game on this laptop, so this has not become an issue for me. Overall, this thing is more compact, charges well on the go, and I have not had any issue so far. Great charger, highly recommend, but is not a one for one HP replacement.

If you travel as much as I do, you have probably been in the same predicament as I have... not having a power supply for your laptop. Either you left it at home, in a customer meeting, at the airport, in another bag, or loaned it to a colleague. I've owned many laptops over the years, and have often times purchased a non-OEM power supply as a backup and to save some money. But the quality of these can vary greatly, so picking one that does the job and doesn't melt or ruin your laptop or battery is important. I purchased this 45W power adapter for my Lenovo X1 Yoga and it has performed just as well as the original power supply. The connection to the laptop is not loose, and I prefer the "L-shape" of this connector plug over the original design as it keeps the cable nice and straight. Even when the battery is charging and the laptop is in use, the transformer doesn't get so hot that you can't touch it or pick it up (I've owned ones that literally got so hot you couldn't touch it). Last, it arrived quickly and well packaged. Would highly recommend this as a backup to carry in your bag, or as a replacement for the original.

Chargers shouldn't be even sent out in the mail without getting tested to see if they charge. This one obviously wasn't tested because it didn't work. Or it was so fragile the inside components broke while getting ship to make it not work when I got it. I would not recommend buying this charger and go with another company.

It's actually perfect. I haven't had a single problem with it. It has nice, secure fittings, and I'm really horrible with cords! This one is not too long, fits I my bag with everything else. My kids use it. So far so great!

I recently destroyed the charger my Chromebook came with, and was desperate for a replacement. I ordered two other chargers that didn’t have enough power to charge my computer even though they said they did (they were for phones apparently). This charger works great, and fast. I would give it more stars, and love that it has a long cord, but it does get hot and make the computer a bit hot when charging, so I don’t use it while on the Chromebook (only when It’s off). If it wasn’t for that it would be five stars.
