Description

The SU-100 was a Soviet SPG commissioned in 1944. The genesis of this model involved the need to strengthen self-propelled artillery at the end of the war. The newly constructed D10 - 100 mm cannon was mounted on the slightly modified hull of the popular SU-85. In the period 1944-46, about 4,500 units of this vehicle were produced. The SPG was very popular, serving in dozens of armies around the world. Several countries still keep the SU-100 on standby. The SU-100 SPG model is entirely designed with COBI building blocks. The inclusion of many awesome pad prints has enabled the vehicle to be faithfully reproduced. The set does not contain stickers at all, only prints! And the prints do not scratch or smear even during heavy use. The model is equipped with efficient crawler traction, a movable gun and openable hatch. Under the service flap there is a detailed motor. The set includes blocks with Soviet and Polish markings to choose from, another innovative and fun feature COBI brings to the set. The set is complemented by a figure of a soldier with a Mauser rifle, a cap and a red banner. The easy-to-read manual contains a list of blocks and statistics that you can use in the free COBI Historical Battle Game. This COBI kit is ideal for the construction of dioramas reproducing the Eastern Front. The SU-100 is the perfect gift idea for anyone of any age and a great start to your COBI construction set adventure.

  • Modelo muy real de excelente calidad

  • Awesome Concorde building set!
A cool looking classic British airways Concorde building set for 14 year old and over by Cobi.5 stars for the look of plane and is over 20" long! Just a amazing build set for a girl or boy to construct, that took me to finish in 8 hours. The Concorde comes with landing gears that's fragile but it holds the plane up and the wheels move also. The nose cone doesn't go up and down, like the real Concorde, to bad.The passenger's window decals is a little hard to lineup on the plane before sticky-glue drys up.The instructions book could be confusing because the pictures of the bricks are not clearly shown to compare to the real parts of the Concorde's bricks.I had to count the circle on the bricks or the knobs that's sticking-up to know which correct bricks to use.You want to use the correct bricks or the plane does't come out right. It sucks to dismantle plane and rebuild the parts over and over, again because you use the wrong part or size bricks.Cobi instruction book could be like the Lego instruction books, easily to read for the young builders. This Concorde is awesome to display with landing gears on my shelf and also on yours too!!So, go get yourself this classic/fastest passagner plane set for you or kid before it gets retired/discontinue at retail. ... show more

  • Life Cut Short
-General- My comments here apply to most, if not all of Cobi's building sets. So far I've built several of Cobi's ship and plane sets, soon to be truck/tank sets, and they are easily the go-to brick-building company for both military and civilian vehicle sets. I've looked into some of the other brick builders like Oxford and inFUNity, and they just didn't seem as polished and well thought out as Cobi. The unique and effective catalogue of bricks they use make for cleverly designed and built sets, which are extremely satisfying to construct, if you're coming from Lego's standard set of bricks. It's real nice not having to go to niche custom set designers for some really solid renditions of all kinds of vehicles. Their building instructions are a bit different to that of Lego's, which threw me for a loop at first, but I soon realized it's a better way of instructing. It makes it a bit clearer as to what bricks go where, especially with how similar some of their bricks can be. They also print a lot of the decals on the bricks, so no stickers! -Concord- Specific to this set, the Concord is a really stylish plane, and Cobi captured the wing sweep, engines, and British Airways livery quite well. They also managed to incorporate functioning landing gear and rudder, which is impressive for the scale. Unfortunately, this is a very sticker-heavy build. It takes an hour or so to complete the build. ... show more

  • Worthwhile
Some pieces didn’t lock but overall very cool. Very large

  • SUPER cool plane - fun build!
I was happy that this was bigger than expected (I didn't read the details...!), and it was both a fun build AND a REALLY COOL plane/model! I'm a total dork for planes, so I got this and the 787 and I've been waiting to build the other one because I want to save the excitement. Only thing to note - the decals (for the windows) do NOT do well with being taken off and moved - even after a few seconds - so be SUPER careful when you put them on... I would even put down painter's take along the fuselage when I put them on my other model... Since they're a series of VERY thin strips of 'window,' it's not easy to get them at the right place on the plane AND the right angle AND match up from front to back - running a thin piece of masking tape or painter's tape would definitely help! ... show more

  • Stickers are hard but good set overall
Written by an 11 year old master builder: This stickers were hard to put on because there are no instructions on how to put them on. But once you get them on, it looks amazing! The landing gear looks good when it's down but when you put it up it looks kind of ugly. Also on the picture, it looks like there is an indent for the nose gear, but there isn't. ... show more

  • Great airliner build
Just got done seeing the real thing in Seattle WA. Had to buy this model. East to assemble and good build time, about 2 hours. Only thing I didn't like is the stickers but I can live with that.

  • Fun to build!
It was fun to build for my seven year old and I however, it is missing a piece and the piece that was leftover is not even the right size or shape of the missing piece. Would be perfect if all the pieces were in the packaging.
