I use this on the sink in my shop and it works fine there, I don't need nearly enough hot out there to justify a hot water heater. I don't think it would work for a shower unless you like them on the cold side. This heater is a clean design and seems to be well built. However, I think the ad should be more descriptiv of what you are getting, and the instruction book was pretty much useless. It says 6500W on the side, and it has a 2.5' 12GA wire pigtail colored correctly for US 240V. The water connections are 1/2 NPT brass. Overall I like it!

Installed this in our ext building. I ran a cold water line to our building from the side of the house over the summer. I didn't want to run a hot water line under ground 150 feet. I figured that would be a stupid idea. Got this little unit to have some hot water going to a sink and a slope sink (maybe a shower down the road). Works pretty well! Just have to remember to drain it for the winter ;) . Normally I wouldn't want an electric hot water heater, but this little guy is perfect for small applications.
