This fixed the blank screen problem that seems to plague these machines. I bought a new S22i commercial bike from Nordictrac. After ~2 years of gentle intermittent use, I tried to wake it from sleep mode, the screen blinked strangely and went black. Elevation buttons still worked but not the resistance ones. Did some research, watched a few YouTube videos and swapped out the board. Will probably take you ~1/2 hour, but make sure you have some metric Allen wrenches. A few pointers 1) There are a few different looking boards around the internet that say they are for this machine so I disassembled my bike to take a look before I ordered the part (old part is in the picture) This one looked the most like the one in my machine. 2) I removed the cover on both sides of the machine but I think you only need to remove the left crank,pedal and cover. 3)My bike was always plugged into a surge protector. The problem seems to come from leaving it powered so I will be shutting off the surge protector or unplugging the bike between uses. ... show more

Tech support quoted me $800 plus labor cost since I’m a few months outside the warranty window. This worked like a champ and was pretty easy to replace. You just need a screwdriver and some Allen keys. Took me about 20-30 minutes start to finish.

    • Completely restored my S22I dead bike
My s22i bike console quit working, nothing but a black screen. The whole bike was dead and inoperative. I ordered this board, watched an installation video online, and installed it in 15 minutes. New board did the trick and my bike now works like new!
