That means I like things under cover - either inside or with a cover on. I didn't even know that kayak covers existed! So I was eager to get a couple for my two bright green kayaks - I really don't want them all faded and dirty. These are nice and thick, the fit was excellent, easy to put on, and I got a second one for the second kayak. Super excited to have them, hope they don't get "crispy" too soon and last a nice long time. This picture looked like they were blues and pinks/reds, but mine is green and red camo. I don't really care about the print. At $16, this is a bargain and I am very pleased.

I have been wanting a cover for my Kayak to keep out rain, leaves, dirt and bugs, and even bought some canvas, but never got around to doing anything. Then I went to use the kayak and found that a widow spider had taken up residence. So I happily found this one on Vine. What you need to know. Fit: I says it fits kayaks 11.8 to 13 feet. My kayak is 12' 10.5''. It fits, but it is very tight. as can be seen in the photos, the seam is short of the tips and the seams are overly stressed. I recommend that if you kayak is over 12.5 feet that you get the next size up. Materials: The fabric has a metallic appearing lining. One of the features of stated features of the cover in the product description was that it was UV resistant. At nearly 13 feet, this boat lives outside in partial shade, but a secondary goal of the cover was to protect the boat from the sun. The label inside calls it a "dust cover" and warns "Do not expose the dust cover under strong sunshine for long time" and "This cover is more suitable for shadow or indoor". (See photo). OK, it will not last forever, but will be cheaper to replace than the kayak. I am fine with the colors. I thought they might be too much for me, but they look good.

I bought two different kayak covers for my pair of 10' single-person kayaks. This one (top in the pic, ASIN B0DQDTPQ59) from the brand Longgoearn in camo purple and a black one (bottom, ASIN B0DT474Q4D) from the brand SILIVN. This one is currently $19.99, and the black one is $25.99 with a 12% coupon (=$22.87). The black one is fine, but this purple one is overall better: - It came with a smaller storage bag that holds it together more tightly. - It's a multi-layer material with a UV reflective layer under the colored outer fabric. The black one is a single layer. - It is somewhat thin, but feels durable. It is thicker than the black material. - It has four straps that go around the kayak (as opposed to 3 on the other black one), so it has a slightly snugger fit. That said, the three straps and buckles on the black one do feel a bit higher quality. - They are both the same size, and both generously fit my 10.0 foot long kayaks. - The elastic around the hem feels the same on both, seems strong and durable. Of course, the color and pattern on this one will be a personal decision.

If you own a kayak, you absolutely should own a protective cover! Kayaks aren't cheap so what better way to protect your investment that with one of these easy-to-use covers. Made of quality durable material my kayak will now be protected for many years to come. Perfect fit. I wish I knew these existed sooner!

The cover is ok. The fabric is pretty thin. My kayak is 14ft plus the rear rudder. I could barely get it on. I had to detach the rudder to fit. The straps that go underneath (4) are a nice feature to keep the wind from blowing it off. I would recommend it for a kayak 13ft or less. The description states 13', no leeway. For the price it's a great way to keep the kayak clean.

So far these covers are vey durable, They easily fit over my 9' kayaks, and I like that they are full coverage instead of just the seat section. There's a cinch cable and straps to secure it in place. They look goot in the yard too! Recommend for the price!

In general, 420D nylon is used to make backpacks and rain jackets, so this kayak cover should be relatively durable. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: - It is comparatively waterproof, but as UV degrades the nylon, you can expect it to not hold up to water as when it was brand new. - The fit was perfect for my kayak. - Functionality can be rated an eight out of ten as it definitely functioned as advertised. - The purple random camo pattern also looks very stylish Cons: - The shade of purple seen in the photos does not quite match the shade of purple of the product. The description photos are somewhat brighter. Overall, if you can get over the shade of color difference between the photos and the actual kayak cover, I do recommend this kayak cover.
