Description

Why is the actual output sometimes lower than 200W/400W? This is normal for regular products. Rated power is lab-tested. Actual output varies by light, weather, angle and temperature. Higher wattage panels deliver more power and faster charging. What can this solar panel power? 200W: RV batteries, mini fridges, small off-grid devices 400W: Home backup, cabins, large power storage Will it still work on cloudy days? Yes. Advanced N-Type cells help maintain stable power output even in cloudy weather, yet output still drops slightly and charging will take longer. Will it survive outdoor weather? Yes. Engineered for dependable outdoor use in rain, humidity, marine environments, RV travel, and extreme summer heat. It is highly resistant to extreme conditions, ensuring reliable performance for up to 30 years. Can I add more panels in the future? Yes. Easily connect additional panels in series or parallel to expand your power system anytime. • Powerful and cost effective
These actually worked great. They give out 300w on an average day. Ive gotten all the way up to 350 messing with the angles without clouds in the sky. But I would say 300w on average. Use it with my Bluetti. And power my A/C, and hydrogardens and lights with it and my ring cameras all night and day. Overall. Impressed. Will be buying another set. Easy to mount, great price compared to other similar ones. And light weight. I actually have them on my shed. And they weigh less then my other 200w panel. ... show more

  • Great upgrade from my 2 regular old 100w panels.
Great upgrade from My 2 100w regular panels. A little larger than I thought but I'll make them work for my setup. I've learned that if either of your panels have a chance of being shaded if you run them parallel it's more beneficial.

  • It works great amazing. Best purchase for your money.
I was able to put them in series to put in parallel with another set of 2 without going over my volts rating on my Anker c2000 power bank. For the price as a bifacial. Great quality

  • Bad solder and non connected bus bars?
Please test and inspect your panel before mounting it, we see to have a quality control issue. I ordered 10 and received 4 so far so I will update. So far they work but look at the photos, the bus bars are very suspect.

  • good power, light weight
I ordered a pair of the bifacial 200 watt panels, and tested them on the first clear day that I had before taking them out to my cabin. My testing setup consisted of a power meter, an mppt charge controller and a 100AHr LiFePO4 battery. With the panel proped on the back of my truck in roughly the direction of the sun at about 2:30pm, I got between 100 and 150 watts pretty consistently, with the average being about 110 watts. While this is below the rated 200 watts, I consider it pretty good, considering that the panel is bifacial - designed to use light from the back side - and I had it sitting on a solid black surface, so there was no light coming from the back. You can see from the power meter that it was putting out about 140 watts at the time I took the picture, and its voltage varied between 21-23 volts. Easily enough to charge a nominial 12-volt battery with a charge controller. Of course you must have some sort of controller, and never attach a panel directly to a battery. Two of these panels in series could charge a 24-volt string, but no more. If you were planning on a 48-volt string requiring a charging voltage of over 58-volts, you would need a perfect charge controller and at least three of these, but more likely four. This will, however work for my purposes, which is not to run my cabin, but to keep some remote equipment on the same property charged up. it has the standard mc4 connectors, that attached easily to my test setup, and it worked well. The panels are pretty light weight, and easily moved my one person. The cables were a bit short, but not too short to attach two panels together in either series or parallel without extensions. You would however probably need one if you tried three or more panels. I am quite satisfied with these panels, and look forward to getting them up where I can make use of their bifacial nature to generate their full potential. ... show more

  • Good panel output, but arrived with some damage
The solar panels seem to work, and the overall build looks decent for the price. The listing says this is a 400W set with two 200W panels, and the label on the panel also shows 200W. I tested one panel with my power station and was getting around 169W in real use, which is not bad depending on sun angle, temperature, and placement. For off-grid use, RV, camper, or backup charging, the output seems usable. The panels are a nice size and feel fairly solid. I also like that they use standard solar-style specifications and are rated IP68, which should help for outdoor use. The bifacial design is a nice feature, although actual extra output will depend on where and how the panels are mounted. My main issue is that one corner arrived bent/damaged. Solar panels need to be handled carefully, and damage around the frame makes me question long-term durability, especially if this is going to be mounted outside where wind, vibration, and weather are involved. It may still work, but I do not like receiving a panel in this condition at this price point. Overall, the performance seems promising and the wattage output is reasonable, but the damaged corner lowers my confidence in the product and packaging. I would give it 3 stars because it works, but the condition it arrived in should have been better. ... show more

  • Absolutely Great Bifacial Solar Panels -
This review is for the AeternaSol 200W (2) ea. Solar Panel, N-Type 18BB 12V 200 Watt Solar Panel. Once again this seller has another great product. I ordered the 2 panel kit which is two 200W Bifacial panels. I have one of their 100W bifacial panels and it consistently pulls in upwards on a good day, 80-90W. Now this kit is heavy! I mean like 44lbs for both. The frame is well built and comes with plastic corner protection. It is of advanced N-Type 18BB technology. Grade A solar cells, Water proof and IP68 protection. Its 25.2% high efficiency bifacial cells allow for better energy conversion. The frame, although not shown in their photos, comes with pre-drilled holes in the upper/lower and both long sides for standard solar mounting clips. The wiring is completed with weather tight MC4 connectors. The panels come with impressive spec’s. My test on a cloudy day, was output 13.45V, Amps 10.37A, Watts 139.48W. My 150A battery was at a SOC 98% when readings were taken. Here are the Panel Spec’s: Vmpp 2.04 Impp 8.68 Voc 25.18 Isc 10.05 Vsys max DC1000V IP rating IP58 I tested both panels to make sure they were both on par with each other. I am happy to say they are great. Just keep in mind if you do want to purchase these, you will need to get a good 30A 12/24 Mppt controller. My current one is 20 Amps and I couldn’t test both panels set up in parallel because of the amperage produced. So keep that in mind. I want to shout out to the packaging of these panels. I tell you the shipper practically destroyed the box, but thanks to all the thick Styrofoam panels and end pieces, there was no damage to the panels itself. I give this these Solar Panels FIVE STARS ... show more
