  • Great for a secondary audio setup
I picked up this little amp because my living room sound setup was basically “Bluetooth speaker on a bookshelf” and my garage had a pair of perfectly good old speakers sitting there looking offended. I wanted something small, cheap, and not ugly that could pull double duty for movie nights, random music sessions, and the occasional bad karaoke decision. This box has done all of that and somehow turned into the unofficial party starter for my house. First impression out of the box: it’s compact, heavier than it looks, and feels more like real gear than a toy. All the knobs and buttons have that satisfying resistance instead of the wobbly “this might fall off next week” feeling. The front panel is straightforward—volume, bass, treble, input controls, mic knobs—nothing that makes you dig through a manual for half an hour just to get sound. I wired it into a pair of old passive speakers that had been gathering dust. The speaker terminals are proper binding posts that clamp down firmly on the wire. No spring clips threatening to spit the cable out the second you nudge the amp. Once everything was connected, I powered it up, switched to Bluetooth, paired my phone, and had music going in less than a minute. Sound-wise, it punches well above “tiny box” expectations. It drives bookshelf speakers easily at low to medium volume without sounding strained, and when you crank it up, it stays surprisingly clean. The rated power is more than enough to fill a living room or garage without that thin, crunchy distortion you get from underpowered amps. The bass and treble knobs actually do something useful; you can dial in a little extra low end for movies or tame a bright pair of speakers for long listening sessions. I ended up nudging the bass up slightly for music and backing it off a bit during late-night TV, and it responded exactly the way you’d hope. Bluetooth 5.0 has been rock solid. I’ve walked around the house, into the kitchen, and even stepped outside to take the trash out, and the connection didn’t drop. No weird lag when watching TV through a Bluetooth source either—dialogue lines up with lips instead of feeling like a dubbed movie. It also remembers the last device and mode, which sounds minor but is great in practice. Turn it off, come back later, power it on, and it snaps right back into Bluetooth or whatever you were using before without making you cycle through inputs like a puzzle game. Where it gets fun is the karaoke side of things. There are two microphone inputs on the front, each with its own volume knob and an echo control. This feature sat ignored for about a week, until a friend’s birthday. We had people over, the music going, and someone spotted the mic jacks and said the dangerous words: “Do these work?” Ten minutes later, we had two cheap wired mics plugged in, the echo dialed in just enough to be flattering without sounding like a cave, and a full-blown karaoke session happening in my living room. The funniest moment of the night was a very serious, very reserved friend deciding to “just try one song” and then absolutely belting their way through a wildly dramatic ‘80s ballad while the echo made them sound like they were performing to an arena of one thousand drunk geese. The amp handled it like a champ: backing track over Bluetooth, two mics going at once, no feedback, no weird volume jumps, just clear vocals on top of the music. The only distortion in the room came from our sense of dignity. Beyond Bluetooth and karaoke, it’s got a nice mix of old-school and modern inputs. There are RCA inputs on the back for a TV, CD player, or turntable with a preamp in front of it. It also takes USB drives and SD cards, so you can load music straight from storage without even turning on your phone. That’s been surprisingly handy in the garage, where I don’t always want my phone sitting out in dust or grease territory. FM radio is built in too, so I can flip over to a local station when I don’t feel like curating anything. Scan a few stations, save the ones that don’t suck, and it’s ready for news, sports, or background noise. In daily use, it’s very “set it and forget it.” The universal voltage support means I don’t have to care about step-down transformers or anything weird; it’s perfectly happy on standard house power and doesn’t get worryingly hot. The metal casing and ventilation give some confidence that it’s built to survive being left on for long stretches. It’s been sitting on a shelf in the living room sometimes, and other times I drag it to the garage for a project day, and it doesn’t feel fragile in either environment. For size, it hits a sweet spot. It’s small enough to tuck on a shelf without dominating the space, but large enough that the controls and display aren’t microscopic. The front screen gives you basic info about the input and mode, and the included remote means you don’t have to bend over the unit every time you want to adjust something from the couch. What I’ve ended up liking most is that it’s truly multipurpose. During the week, it runs as a simple stereo amp for TV audio and low-key background music. On weekends, I drag it into the garage, hook up the same pair of speakers, and let it blast playlists while I work on projects. And every now and then, someone remembers the dual mic inputs, and suddenly we’re doing deeply unserious karaoke with surprisingly decent sound. If you’ve got a couple of passive speakers lying around and want to give them a new life instead of buying yet another plastic Bluetooth speaker, this little amp earns its space. It streams, it runs radio, it reads USB and SD, it has proper tone controls, it takes two microphones with their own controls, and it does all of that from a compact metal box that doesn’t feel like a toy. And if you happen to discover that your quietest friend is secretly a karaoke monster in the process, that’s just a bonus. ... show more

  • Good for everyday use
This amplifier was easy to set up and has been working well for my basic audio needs. Bluetooth connects quickly, and the sound is clear for regular listening. It provides enough volume for a small room or garage without issues and compact in size. The extra input options FM radio and USB SD playback are convenient, and the microphone are a nice addition. Overall, it does what i expected and performs as described. ... show more

  • Low budget audio amplifier player
It is a ĺow budget audio amplifier, quite useful for small set up... I play my t.v. thru it and just had to connect my five point speakers and a subwoofer, 3 on each channel... listens at moderate volume....

  • Pretty good
For the price it is pretty good for small speakers in a shed or garage. It doesn't really have 400W output but enough. Bluetooth and aux input both work fine. Distortion is noticeable when volume is turned high.

  • Great amp
This is a very impressive unit at this price point. I am running through a set of Bose Speakers that I use as studio monitors for music recording. The sound is crisp and clear through both wired connection and bluetooth with the bluetooth showing no noticeable latency. Even at high volume there is very minimal and barely noticeable distortion. The setup is super simple and it looks pretty cool too. I haven't tried the microphone feature but that isn't what I bought it for. Perhaps I'll try it out just for fun. The amp can be seen with the blue lights on the shelf just above the speakers. ... show more

  • Ehh
Didn't work for what I was wanting. The first one arrived in a damaged box with open parts so they sent a replacement.

  • An Absolutely Wonderful Purchase!
My old receiver died, but my bookshelf speakers were still good, so I had to order a new one from Amazon. This one was a total surprise! The Bluetooth is awesome – way better than I expected. It connects super fast and there's no lag at all. It also has a USB port, so I grabbed an old flash drive and tried playing some MP3s. Both ways of playing music made my speakers sound brand new. The bass and treble are just so clear and pleasant to listen to. I can't believe I got something this good for the price. It feels like there are more features waiting for me to discover, like little hidden treasures. I also really want to thank the seller for being so thoughtful. They proactively sent over a digital manual and left a very kind message offering help. I really appreciate that level of care – it makes a big difference. Seriously, this is one of the best purchases I've made all year. So happy with it! ... show more
