I wore this dress to my oldest son's wedding and received many, many compliments. My favorite? "That's not a dress, that's a statement." The wedding was outdoors in Florida (in AUGUST!) and I was still very comfortable. I loved that I could slide the jacket off my shoulders if I felt warm. It was also very comfortable to dance in. I love the Alex Evenings line of formal dresses for women. I was so excited to get this dress as I was hoping to wear it for my daughter's upcoming wedding but unfortunately the jacket didn't fit right. There is no give to it and because of that, it was very confining and I was afraid that the lace would rip if I kept it. If there was a bit of spandex or something in the lace to help the jacket be more comfortable and give it some stretch then I would've kept it but unfortunately I have to return it. Ordered this dress for a Mother of the Groom. I LOVED it and it was very flattering. I am 5'2" and was so excited that the length was perfect.......Until I showed the bride and the color won't work with the wedding party colors....
