I priced underlayment at Floor & Decor, and it was over $200. I bought this underlayment for under $80, it worked perfectly and just as good as the more expensive ones. I would buy this again in a flash. I used it under waterproof, vinyl flooring in my basement. It did the job at a great price.

    • Better price than big box stores
This is a better price than you'll find at the big box stores and a bit thicker as well. One roll was pieced together in two places and not one solid roll. The adhesive strip on that roll was difficult to peel off as well. Still, it's easy to cut and worked well under the flooring.

I never write reviews but this product has saved me litterly hundreds on a remodel. I typically get underlayment from Lowes fo $80 for 100 sq ft, this is a no brainer and it's the same 3mm thickness (400 sq ft for $80). Awesome buy.

    • Good Underlayment for the Price
I have installed a little over 1000sqft of engineered hardwood flooring with this underlayment and I have not significant complaints. The only thing that I've had a problem with is that the adhesive, which is used to adhere the pieces of underlayment to each other, sometimes rips off and, even when it doesn't, it doesn't stick extremely well. This is a minor inconvenience though as you can just use a little tape in places that aren't stuck together well. Will buy again if needed. ... show more
