These were a Christmas gift for my mother, she hasn't had new silverware in a while and hers were always disappearing. We've just been using them for a couple days so far, they seem to be good and sturdy pieces. So far haven't had any problems with rust. Hopefully they'll hold up for a while. They are nice, but do tend to get scratched since they are highly polished. If I were to buy again, I may look into a satin or brushed finish instead, but we still like them very much.
