Very sturdy bag. I choose the brown color. I stood it against the wall while empty and it did not crumple up and fall over like most bags of this type do. It just stood there. The outer material is attractive. It does not look like the typical, tactical ballistic nylon as most other bags do. The bag has very adequate padding and ample storage space. Again, it can stand against a wall on its own when empty. The carry handle has very thick padding and is comfortable in the hand, not like the rope type carry handles of most bags in this price range. I regreatably had to return this bag because I needed about 3/4 to one inch more in length. It seems most bags are 41 inches. I was concerened the tight fit was putting stress on the guitar neck. Also, I was concerned that the tight fit would wear the finish off the headstock. I really tried to keep this bag, but my only other guitar at this time is electric, which needs a hard case. This bag does fit a dreadnought size guitar with no issue as long as your guitar fits into a 41 inch bag. Again, this bag is extremely attractive and very functional. I just needed more length. Hope this helps someone in the under $50 genre. I tried several in this price point and this was the best. In the under $50 genre, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I settled on the Gator Transit Series bag, which is longer in length and as a bonus, has a thick padded felt lining, with extra adjustable headstock, neck and bottom surport. I wanted a change from my old plain black guitar case, although it looked ok, is sturdy and in perfect condition. I've just joined an exciting music group, and chose this attractive light gray one. I'm very glad I read the reviews first, because someone mentioned the tightly folded/rolled up system of boxed packaging and mentioned theirs came very creased. But I thought just maybe the packing has changed, and that I'd risk it. Sadly no, it arrived as that reviewer described. What a shame. I've knocked a main star off solely because of the crinkled result when unpacked, and "sturdiness and support" are rated 4 stars because the case is a fabric one and would not protect against serious roughness. For my purposes it is fine, and looks very smart and individual, if creased in places. I used a steam iron over a damp cloth to reduce the creasing, which did help a little. It's more padded than these usually are, which is why I picked this one and not one of the many others. The size is good for a regular adult sized acoustic guitar, pockets are usable, and it actually looks like the image in person.

Fits the yamaha fs800 series, the smaller body, NOT the FG series. Good for light duty protection at home. For heavy use you need a hard case. Not sure what case will fit.

Perfect fit for my full size 70s era classical guitar. Guitar measures ~39 inches long and 14 ~ 14.5 wide on lower bout. I believe a 41 inch long Dreadnought would be a very tight if not uncomfortable fit. Khaki is very nice tweed style appearance and has ample padding for a gig bag.
