Easy to use, plugged it in and it is ready to use. Strong machine for the serious Home Connoisseur. The plates are the perfect size 3x5. Avoid smaller plates. There's nothing cheap or breakable. 4 tons is powerful, more tonnage is good, but 4 tons does the job for Home Connoisseur.

I love this thing. They give a lot of extra fuses with it as well as a silicone mat. I have had this press for a year and a half to almost two years and I have not had to replace any fuses. If you buy one it takes practice. DIFFERENT strains requires different temperatures, times and strength. There is an art to it that anyone can learn. YouTube does help but nothing like practice. Always remember for different strains requires different approaches. Really good stuff low temps like 180. The hotter you go and longer you can get more but at a quality cost. Some bud can require higher temps like 200 and longer press time. It's lots of fun remember to be an artist takes a little time and patience. On my pictures everything was mid to high mid. I also was a beginner and all of those were less than a gram of weed maybe a gram. The picture with the mat and everything on the mat comes with the press. Also the press comes with bars you can take on and off for directional flow. Not sure where I put my bars. Also the little price on the mat in the corner is a magnet. ... show more

Power cord is a little short. Takes a little time to warm up but it's single element (per plate) so was expected. Temps are off by about 5-10 degrees. Still works amazingly. Especially at this price point. And it is even, dare I say, portable? Sure, it's a little heavy. Compared to other presses though this thing is portable. No screwing it into a table or work bench etc, lightweight, easily comes apart if you even need to do that. Small footprint too! So all in all I think this might be the best press at this price point lest your pretty handy with electrical and want to build your own. ... show more

Great product overall, really glad to have purchased it. Only complaint is the temp is off by close to 20f. I checked their website, and they claim ir temps can be inaccurate, so I've tested via their method, still 20f off. Even in the end product, the expected result is matching my ir temp. It's a small complaint I have, but as long as you know what you're doing, it's a great press very well built. ... show more
