Didnt work so well with 20 inch truck tires

I got this PreAsion manual tire changer for home garage maintenance. While it gets the job done for motorcycle and standard passenger car tires, there are a few manufacturing quirks to be aware of up front. Out of the box, I noticed some metal burs, leftover welding slag, and minor manufacturing imperfections on the steel frame. A few of the assembly alignment points didn't line up quite right. But I was still able to get everything put together without too many issues. The listing states a range of 4 inches to 21 inches, but I couldn't get smaller tires to physically fit on the center setup. It was a great fit and fully compatible with larger tires like motorcycle and 16" passenger vehicle. While the unit is technically portable, you definitely need to bolt it down to a solid floor (or maybe movable platform) to get enough leverage when working on larger tires. Despite a few hiccups and quality control issues, I still think it's a good value for the convenience of changing tires at home.

This is for larger tires than I was lead to believe. It says 4" to 21" tires. The center shaft is waay to big for the smaller wheels, mine has a 1" hole, and the center post is at least a 1 1/4". Could not use this for what I thought it would be perfect for, so now I have something I may never use. The packing was pretty beat up, and it appeared to have been repacked about three times before it got to me. Very disappointed with this tool. If I have larger tires to change, it may become useful. I just ordered a new tire and wheel, since this will not help remount the tire on the rim. My wheel is 6.75 in diameter and the tire is a 13x5x6. After a few days of trying to get assistance on how to make it work, I am returning it. To bad that the support for this item is nil, with proper instruction it might be made useful.

My husband bought it to change my tired on my Buick. It took a three or more to get the first tire off lol..You’re gonna need something to add to it. It’s not for people that don’t know how to change tires by the second tire we couldn’t even get it off we had to go to a shop and get the other three tires changed from the rim.
