It is exactly as presented. Stainless steel and sturdy. I'm also considering the "step up" float advertised on Amazon. I live on a boat and would only have to swim over to this to get out of the water. It doesn't need installation, and would be an excellent "backup!"

It looks good, price is right, size is standard but the base could be a little longer. I had to make new holes. It can’t receive 5 stars because there are no instructions to install and the screws sent with the ladder are useless. They will work only on wood. If you put that on the hull, you will damage your boat for sure. It will never hold the weight. You need new fasteners, big washers to go under and nuts. Then you will have it installed and working properly.

I will say I don't think it's extra wide. To save this issue we purchased 2 ladders and put them next to each other. This was an inspired idea of my husband's. It worked great!!!!. My family loved the ease of climbimbing in and out of the boat. It was less expensive than other ladders and we already had rails. We have a Bass Tracker 21 Party Deck boat. I highly recommend these ladders.

This is my second ladder on 2 different boats and I really reccomend this product. Be sure to measure and add enough steps below the water line to easily get yourself out of the water. I have 2-3 steps below water line when extended and thus makes it way easier ti climb, fit or not! Remember to account for lean of your boat with others inside your boat. Thanks for reading!

i was looking to buy a ladder for my boat because the two step is just not cutting it. wife and i are 61 and not as nimble as we used to be. i saw this ladder and read the reviews. first review i read was was from a 4xl guy that loves to swim from his boat in the Niagara river eating cake and sandwiches and is so happy he can get back in his boat for more food with this ladder!!! Best review i ever read!! and i bought this ladder based on this mans opinion. This ladder is everything he said !!! Takes minutes to install,works great, holds 900 lbs. and its appealing to the eye. This is the best decision you can make
