I was skeptical. I have about 25% success when it comes to buying anything LED. This one is a success. I installed them on a Chevy W4500 (aka Isuzu NPR). This buy comes with 4 lights. After installing just 2 of them, they were already much brighter than the old sealed beam halogen lights. I almost saved the other 2 lights for another truck but decide what the heck, installed those as well. They have a nice cutoff so you're not blinding other people. And light is focused where you need it. This isn't one of those crappy lights that blinds everyone, yet fails to to light up the area directly in front of the vehicle. Fitment was good. I didn't have to make any modifications. As for wiring... On many vehicles, wiring modification will be required. This is because this light (and most LED lights) are polarized. Halogen lights are not. Meaning, a halogen light doesn't care about polarity (which lead is positive and which is negative). An LED will only work with the correct polarity. That is, there is a negative lead and a positive lead. If you switch them around, it won't light up. Lots of cars wire up the lights in odd ways. They were able to do this because Halogens are not polarized. For instance on my truck, when the low beam is off, the wires are + and +. When the low beam is on, it's + and -. Same goes for the high beam. So, instead of the lights being constantly connected to ground and having the + wire switched off and on, my lights did the opposite. Even with the lights off and ignition switch off, all the wires to the lights had +12V. So, I had to wire up two relays and a fuse to get them working. Good headlights for a 25 year old (2001) Peterbilt 379. A little more than plug and play but very little. Detailed instructions on how to wire them. 45 minute install. Worth every minute of it if they will last a couple of years.

If you have old school sealed beams and are looking for an upgrade, this is it. These Led replacement lamps are fantastic. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. The lights fit perfect and the color of the beam is great...bright white. It illuminates not only further down the road, but also gives a wider beam. The price is also fair a pair of top notch sealed beam lights will run almost $50 from the auto store. As far as wiring I can not comment on typical wiring since Saturn had a different type of wiring scheme when it comes to headlights. Instead of positive (12v+) wires controlling low and high beam with 1 negative, Saturn uses 2 negative wires to operate the lights with a single 12v+ source. I had to add relays and extra wiring to reverse the negative signal from the light switch to a positive signal that the new LED lights would operate on. But this has nothing to do with the company I purchased these from. When I finally got these lights to work I thought I had the high beams on since they were so bright! I would have liked to see a better wiring color code chart to confirm which wire was low/high beam. The instructions only give you the colors of the included adapter harness (which are different than the LED pigtail colors). I matched up the pigtail to adapter harness wire colors to complete my wiring diagram so I have something on paper to follow. Other than Saturn's backwards wiring method....I would recommend these LED lights to anybody with old yellow 4x6 garbage beams. ... show more

I just want to start off by saying WOW these make a difference; and also they have three wires, if you can't figure out how to switch three wires around then you might want to leave any mods to your wiring to a pro but with this its basically plug and play, they even include an h4 pigtail for easy of installation. The feel of the lights is abit on the lighter side, the lens seems a tad thin but not a deal breaker. The housing is a smidge too big for the silver retaining ring for my old headlights but I made it fit anyways. When it comes to the light out put they are far better then stock and I definitely would say they have the best beam pattern for any led I've ever bought. The cut off is pretty solid and straight with only marginal amount of haze so it's not going to totally dazzle on coming drivers. The low beams could be a tad more intense; what I did is I jumped the low beams on the inner lights to the outer ones so all four are high and low and it makes up more then enough of what they where lacking with just the two low beams. I've only driven around town so far and the lights out shine all, I'll up date with how well they do when driving in the back country where I live when I get the chance. I took a gamble with these and it paid off so far, I will recommend these to anyone that need 4x6 lights hands down. ... show more

For quite sometime I was searching for a 4x6 led headlight that would not need any modifications or cutting to the housing, and I figured I would try these. They fit perfect and are super bright, which is what I needed since I live in a very wooded area. The kits comes with a set of pigtail connectors which I plugged directly into my old harness, and all I had to do is find out which wires were my grounds, highs, and lows. I found out what my old wires controlled by using a gator clip power tester that you ground to something, and lights up red when you have power. My high beams only have 2 wires so the white wire went unused in the middle lights. I could have jumped those to my lows on my outer lights, but I honestly don't need to blind oncoming traffic. Everything lights up with the high beams on, and the middle lights stay out when just the lows are on, which you can see in the pictures above. Overall, VERY happy. ... show more
