These silicone cuffs from Awaiymi work well for the items that they fit. These medium sized cuffs have a hole in each end that is approximately 1/2" ID and can stretch to approximately 1" with some effort. This means items like spoons and forks are easy enough to slide on and they stay in place well enough to provide that extra stability when grip is an issue. Anything larger than approximately 1" in diameter requires quite a bit of effort to slide into the eyelet of these cuffs, particular when the user already has some issues with hand dexterity. Anything small like a regular, manual toothbrush or a pencil will not work because they just slide out too easily.

For "4 Pack Silicone Universal Cuff,Assistive Hand Grip Holder Medium Size for Special Needs,Mobility Daily Living Aid, Therapy, Eating Utensil Holder(Adults - 4 Pack M)" These grip assistants come in two sizes. Their use is a bit limited by the diameter of whatever you're trying to attach them to. The silicone is very firm and can be difficult to manipulate just to install. I was hoping these would help my dad, who suffered a stroke about 18 months ago. He lost a moderate amount of dexterity, though he kept most of his strength. We've had mixed success getting him to use these. For the right objects or tools, these are pretty decent value at four dollars apiece. Just be prepared to do a lot of trial and error, and get your patience ready.

This was probably not the item I should have attempted setting up for my aging parents. I had trouble finding the correct sized item handle to be able to connect these universal cuffs securely. It was floppy or slid off. Value is fine. Quality is fine. Sturdy and thick. However, I think I'm not the target audience for this product. The media could not be loaded. As a caregiver for an adult family member with limited hand mobility due to stroke, I'm always looking for tools that can help restore independence. This set of four universal silicone cuffs has been a game changer in our daily lives. The cuffs are made of soft, durable silicone that sits comfortably against the skin. They're super easy to put on and take off, and the medium size fits comfortably around an adult's hand without being too tight or too loose. The material is incredibly flexible - it has just the right amount of stretch to provide a secure fit while still being gentle. We use them primarily to hold cutlery, but they also work well for toothbrushes and razors, and even makeup brushes. My grandpa used to need my help with a lot of little things, and now he can eat and brush his teeth on his own. Great!

These wristbands are great for people with limited hand strength. The silicone is soft, washable, and has a strong grip without getting sticky. It stretches just enough to accommodate a variety of utensils – from standard spoons and forks to markers, paintbrushes, and even grooming tools like razors or toothbrushes. The medium-sized wristbands fit most adults and older children’s hands comfortably. They are easy to put on and take off, and unlike some Velcro-based adaptive sleeves, they don’t wear out or lint quickly. Worth buying!

These are very helpful if they fit both the tool and your hand. I took pictures of it around an electric toothbrush handle. I have medium size women's hands and the small black size did work for this but the blue size was too big and very loose. Hopefully that helps someone else get a feel for what would or wouldn't work with their hands. Another thing to mention is that it is very difficult for someone who does not have full use of both hands (in other words, anyone who would be using this) to get this on an item themselves. If you do not have someone else to help you, you would have to do something like I did, which was putting the toothbrush in a vise to keep it still enough to stretch the rubber ends around it. Now, once I got it on, I was able to brush my teeth like this. I currently have two thumb injuries and cannot grip with either thumb. I did have to stop halfway through and turn the brush around to the other side. Holding it like in the picture I could do my bottom teeth but had to turn it around facing up to do my upper teeth. Again, it was difficult to get the brush turned around in this very tight rubber with my injuries. But it is certainly better than not being able to hold things in my hand at all.
