I bought these to light up Halloween props (I make my own) with a low voltage transformer instead of using 110 AC which can be dangerous if run incorrectly. I normally take any white light fixture and put a colored gel lense over the glass and it works nicely. These however, have all the colors I need/want without having to use a gell lense or camera filter lens and the color is power persistent (it stays on the color you want after it is powered off then back on). These are pretty small and compact, which is a good thing. They are solidly made and the colors are a deep color and not washed out or muted. They've been outside for 2 weeks now and have operated as I expect this type of light to work. I would definitely buy them again and think I will buy more to permanently install on the side of my house for accent lighting during the holidays. We ordered this set to put in our backward. We have large ceramic lanterns that have cut outs, and we wanted to put a light inside so at night the light shines through. These fit the bill! The measurements are way off. I hire a contractor to pre drill holes on my patio for these lights, the measurements are almost 1 inch off. This is unacceptable, either I hire another contractor to fix the hole size . Or try to find lights the size that’s advertised. It’s a big inconvenience, wasting my time and money. ... show more
