This is an impartial review of the product listed as "Waterproof Mattress Pad Queen Size, Breathable Mattress Protector Fitted Deep Pocket to 16", Soft Mattress Cover Queen Size Bed, 60x80 Inches (Crisp-White, Queen)" ASIN B0D141ZGBC from Manufacturer "LIANLAM" and applies only to this specific product. - This is a pretty nice mattress cover and it has a few features that make it better than most of the other mattress protectors that I have. The top/upper fabric surface is quite soft, if a bit snaggy at times, like a microfiber cloth. The fine surface of the mattress protector allowed it to act hydrophobically and actually bead water on top of it initially, but after the third wash cycle this was no longer the case. 💧The top layers are actually quite absorbent to body moisture and liquids, and in moderation they do a okay job of wicking moisture away across the surrounding protector's surface fabric so that you don't get all sweaty if you happen to get hot. The only actually waterproof layer is the bottom layer that sits directly on top of the mattress, which has a glossy white plastic appearance when turned over. The fitted elastic corners and skirt are surprisingly deep, which means that this mattress protector easily fits over tall mattresses, including those with additional mattress toppers. This also makes it much more difficult for the mattress protector to get pulled off accidentally, which is just good design in my opinion. I think that this mattress protector is a good value at around $15-17US. I really have no complaints about this mattress protector, it does pretty much exactly what you would expect it to do, and it fits well. I would recommend it. 🛌 ... show more

I have a 12" deep foam mattress and two pugs that like to sleep on my bed every night--so far no accidents but I know they can happen, so decided to find a comfortable waterproof cover to protect my mattress. This one sounded good so I got it...I am very pleased with it so far! It is quilted but not too thick, and it's very soft and pliable--sure doesn't feel like any of the old waterproof mattress covers we used when the kids were small. It is so soft that I had to try pouring some water on it just to see if it really is waterproof and it is! It also had plenty of room left on the side past the bottom of my mattress, so it will fit an even thicker mattress than mine (see 2nd photo). I decided to place itthe cover right next to the mattress, beneath the thick mattress pad and bottom sheet, as I typically sleep hot and didn't want to make the bed any warmer; plus the mattress pad is washable if an accident happens. Honestly, I cannot tell I am sleeping on a waterproof anything--the bed is still nice and soft and comfortable. I hope I never actually need a waterproof pad for the mattress, but if I do, this one should save my mattress from ruination! ... show more

    • Works as described but a little thin
When the mattress pad arrived, I was a little surprised at how compact the package was. It turns out that this was due to it having a thinner top than one would find on a more traditional pad. The top is waterproof as claimed and it fit a queen size sleep number mattress perfectly. This is in a guest bedroom so other than a quick check when we made the bed, it hasn't been slept on. With the sleep number, I'm not concerned with the added padding that a traditional mattress pad would offer. It will protect the bed from any spills and since our dogs do get on the bed, we don't have to worry about drool. The pad was sewn well and the overall quality is good so if you are only looking for the protection factor and not worries about extra padding this would be a great choice. ... show more

This topper is incredibly soft and supportive, and I noticed the difference in comfort right away. The shredded memory foam gives it that cushy, contouring feel without making you sink too deep like block foam can. It’s been great for relieving pressure points, especially in my back and hips. The deep pocket design holds it in place really well—I haven’t had any shifting, even with tossing and turning. It fits snugly over my mattress and stays put. I was also pleasantly surprised that it’s not listed as waterproof in the description, but if you look in the product details, it is mentioned there. As well as I found several reviews that back that up. That gives me extra peace of mind for spills or accidents. It’s breathable, super plush, and just overall makes the bed feel luxurious.
