I normally sleep hot, so I use cooling Sheex sheet sets and was concerned about this topper, especially since it's summer in Oklahoma, but this topper has not been hot at all, not even warm. I have a split king sleep number bed that is Twin XL on both sides, but I'm only 5'4", so I ordered the regular twin length topper, and it works great. The elastic straps fit over the corners easily and keep it in place, even when I have the head of the bed in an upright position. There is no smell to the topper. This topper is so comfortable! My hips don't hurt and my arms aren't going numb when I sleep on my side.

I bought the 2" Twin topper and it is about an inch longer than my twin bed. The corner straps are rather shallow making it difficult to keep them on the corners of the bed. The topper is very soft to lay on, and the removable cover is great for washing/cleaning. I'm not sure that I would buy this again, but it does what it says and is worth the price.
