My cats are older, and they found this too interactive. I put it in front of our one-year-old cat and the same thing. Too much going on at once. With the flashing lights a butterfly that moves constantly and feather popping out at four different points it was too much for them. There are balls attached at the top of the base and they have to be moved to work. I thought they moved on their own, but they do not. Not the toy for us.

My cat played with it a couple times and she enjoyed it, but after that, she kind of ignored it so I put it away. I brought it back out a couple weeks later and she played with it again. The picture shows three spin things at the top. Pretty sure you can only fit one in there and I’m disappointed that the balls on the side don’t move automatically. She does enjoy the feathers that pop out on the side. I would say kittens would enjoy this more than an older cat on a consistent basis. It’s heavy duty and like I said it’s rechargeable And there’s really no noise at all that would scare Cat.

The media could not be loaded. My cat loves going outside to the backyard and plays with flying insects, but I worry that she could get hurt while no one monitors her outdoors. So I got this toy to keep her entertained indoors. She loves it so much!!! It keeps her occupied for hours. The product comes with great packaging and a USB charger. The material looks sturdy and it does not seem cheap. Money well spent! I highly recommend it!

The media could not be loaded. It took my cat a minute to warm up to it as it does make some mechanical noises( though still pretty quite) I like that it has multiple settings so I can change it when she starts to get bored.
