Device is pretty simple to install. A little bit of latency, and it sometimes causes my computer to lock up in Mach3. Still, it works well if I don’t interrupt my programs a lot, and the device is easy to reset.

I would like to add to this review and a COMPLIMENT to L-Star Motor. They reached out to me and apologized for any issue with the product and resolved VERY favorably - GREAT customer support and if you buy something from them, buy with confidence! While it seems to connect with the wireless (itself), I find out it is NOT compatible with my EDING CAM software... what a waste of money on my part and after buying a very similar unit waiting to see how it interfaces with my chosen Microsoft platform (SurfacePro). Loaded and ran on two independent mach 3 CNC mills running XP Pro. Worked on both. Had a corrupt file on # two. Reloaded mach and fixed the problem. This is a really cool product.

First, no good instructions on connecting. I had to search for support information. After connecting, the movement was not smooth. Just stopped twice in the middle of a job. The gcode kept running while the spindle stopped moving. I’m done with this thing. Bluetooth is great, when it works.

I originally gave this five stars, but after using it for a while I can not. The wireless version has a delay between the motion of the knob and the machine. The handwheel display usually disagrees with the computer display. I have also had the software lock up using the macro buttons. That being said, if you don't need accuracy, like zeroing a plasma torch and you don't want a cord, this unit will do the job. The wired version of this unit works much better (no delay). I have found most of the better controls are wired, which gives you no delay and immunity from radio interference . I still use this on my plasma table, but for my router I just ordered a VistaCNC P4-S . Hope this helps. ... show more

updated review. The issues I was having was due to an amazing run of bad luck with 16 dead batteries. Totally my fault. The pendant works great. Makes setting up a cut super easy. Working on setting all my macros to make it fully functional for me. Highly recommend this product. It’s nice to not have to jog my machine with the computer keyboard. ... show more
