Sealed seams, a sealed neck closure, and a water resistant zipper do a great job of keeping the cold water from flushing your suit, while seamless paddle zones help you move while eliminating chafing. This is a great suit for any cold water sport. O'Neill Wetsuits come with a 1 year warranty on materials and craftsmanship (90 days on accessories). I have to say, this suit exceeded my expectations. I'm 6'4 220 and this suit fits me great. So for anyone tall that can't find the XLT, this is a great suit. It is a little big in the mid section, but it still holds heat in extremely well. Since it is a little bit bigger you can feel the suit flush every so often. After trying 3 other off brand wet suits I finally came back to a well known suit. The suit fits nice and snug. A good wet suit fits this way. Zipper in the back is much easier to get into than front entry suits. Keep warm with a quality O’Neil brand.

In the past few years I choose the Epic 4/3, it's easy to get in and out of, comfortable, light weight, warm and for the price is an excellent working suit.I especially like the larger entrance, I wear mine year round and can replace it every year or 2 simply because I like the feel of new.I have been surfing over 50 years and as long as O'neil makes this model I'll buy it. Also over the years my tummy has grown a tad and the suit for my height and weight is X-large but the XX is much easier to use and actually fits better,a little long but that is not a problem.Shipping fast,good company to buy from. ... show more

    • Another cool-water suit on the rack
This will be my third O'Neill suit. The other 2 are 3/2 mm. One is the spare. Since I surf/dive socal - central coast Cali waters, this new Epic II is intended for winter surf. This latest Epic II is as described, it fits me perfectly, keeps the cool water out (as expected) on a test session, got a little too warm for my tastes, obviously since I tested it in July. Its an excellent fit, no binding/chafing when I am paddling. I expect it to keep me nice and toasty during winter-water fun. ... show more

I will buy another one as soon as I wear this one out...if they still make them years down the road! Six sessions of 5 to 6 hrs in 51-56' nor cal water, no prob. I even bought my son one, he's in the water same as me and no prob.
