Update. I'm a dumba**. While explaining the situation to my wife I noticed the screw ( which I thought was a grounding connect point) had threads on it. I reached down and turn it and whala it started working. Support from NP Global has been great. Their concern on the product working correctly was very much appreciated. Just received my 2nd sprayer as the first one would not charge. No lights on volt meter pon sprayer at all. Charged for 2 days and the light on the power adapter went from red to green assuming it was fully charged. Called got it replaced and just received the 2nd one and it is doing the same thing. Am I missing something or is the quality just this bad? ... show more

    • Good Bye Pump Handle
I had a commercial grade hand pump sprayer and the almost continous pumping was so tiring. Thankfully the shoulder straps broke and the replacement hardness was expensive so I looked for a replacement and found the electric sprayers. Keeping sufficient pressure to keep the old pump spraying required almost continous pumping. All I have to do is charge this unit up and flip the switch and pull the trigger. I sprayed my entire property and filled the tank twice and the battery is still going strong. The straps are simple and can easily be replaced so no worry about them faliing. The fill neck has sufficient strainer to keep debris out which cloggs the lines. The tank is thick sturdy plastic and should not have leakage problems any time soon. The variety of spray nozzles is excessive for me but have a spray convention with all the tips. ... show more

    • Well worth the price...
Battery held to spray four sides of house on big lot. Very adjustable spray and heads types. On my back the weight of 2 gals was nothing. What takes some getting used to are reaching for things. Do unclip one shoulder strap at bottom to mount device on your back, then clip on (up) strap bottom.

I was surprised at the effiency of this unit. It can spray 30-40 feet vertically to reach the top of a good sized fruit tree. The many different nozzles are an additional plus. The downside is that the manufacturing quality control is poor with my sprayer having missing parts and duplicate parts. The good news is that the distributor is extremely conscientious and promptly answered my call and promptly shipped what I needed. For me it was worth the extra inconvenience to have a backpack sprayer that will make my summer chores easier. ... show more

    • Powerful Sprayer With Minor Complaints
The first tank I had leaked. However the manufacturer took care of that immediately, and I give them five stars for service. Here are my thoughts on the replacement tank. - It did not leak this time (fantastic) - Unpacking was a bit tedious and I thought it was over packaged. But better safe than sorry - Had to spend some time figuring out how to connect the back pack straps (finally got it) - Took about 45 min to unpack and assemble (not bad!) - Very pleased with the spray power and ability to modify the pressure - Charges up quickly (So far I have sprayed 20 gallons without a recharge) - Unit comes with lots of spray tips and a replacement wand - Good value for money - Great customer service ----------- Follow up thoughts 2/3/2023 ------------------------------- - So far I have sprayed over 60 gals and it doing fantastic. I guess the old saying is very applicable "never judge a book by it's cover". - Can not go back to a pump sprayer. ... show more

    • It's an okay sprayer, but unfortunately it's no more "powerful" than a hand-pumped model
I bought this specifically because of the purported 100psi long-reach spray. With that in criteria in mind, I admit I'm very disappointed. I'll keep the sprayer because I'll admit the battery is nice, making it a hassle-free sprayer for up to 4 gallons of weed or fertilizer mix. Battery life is good; one charge will last you a reasonable amount of time. (I did 4 sets of 4g on a charge, then accidentally left the motor running overnight on the shelf... and it was still running in the morning. So battery life is plenty good.) Wide mouth for easy mixing. Back straps are very basic but good enough. Hoses and nozzles are nothing special but seem fine. I'm still less than thrilled about the spray distance (about 15 ft max), but after careful review of the advertising blurbs it doesn't actually give a distance. The only verbiage is "extreme pressure!" and similar. My bad for ASSuming more than what was actually stated. Like I said, it's good enough that I'll keep it, but if I'd known in advance it wouldn't do what I wanted -- get a longer reach than a hand-pumped tank, then I personally would have skipped this particular purchase. ... show more
