I really like this multi-gallon sprayer. I just sprayed my lawn and flower bed with fungicide. It holds 2.6 gallons of liquid. The battery takes about 4 hours to charge, so I must ensure it's always charged. It should come with two batteries since I don't want to wait 4 hours to finish spraying. It took me about 30 minutes to put all the pieces together. The switch on the side turns it on and off. The companion knob helps me choose the pressure (or volume) that is sprayed. It has two filters, one inside and one outside. I like this because it filters out small stuff that could clog the sprayer. The sprayer wand has an always-on setting to make spraying my large lawn easy. I like the straps because they adjust the tank to fit comfortably on my back; the back also has a porous pad, allowing my back to breathe. It even comes with a measuring cup and glove to help get the mix right and keep any chemicals off the skin. They knew how to satisfy the customers. I expect to use this sprayer for many years. This is a vine review meaning the product was provided to be reviewed. This product is a battery powered 2.6 gallon sprayer with six spray attachments as well as a brass fitting. The product is designed as a backpack and has two wide web straps for comfort. The product is packaged in a decorated cardboard box suitable for gifting if wrapped. This product features a removable lithium ion battery and an included charger with power block. The battery must be removed to charge it. I charged the battery without incident and it was easily to install into the product. I tested the product with Thompson’s deck cleaner. The product was able to coat the deck with a uniform spray. I did not put the product on my back but picked it up and moved it as necessary during spraying. The product has a large fill opening which was convenient when filling it with deck cleaner, which is a bleach-based product that you don’t want splashing around or spilling. In summary, this product worked as expected and was a breeze to use! The job went far quicker with the electric-driven pump than with my old hand pump sprayer. I have several different sprayers ranging from 2-7 gallons and this one is my new favorite. The sprayer is well designed and the grid on the back facing part of the pack is just an example. The grid is meant to keep the sprayer away from your back so that air can flow between you and the sprayer. The sprayer comes with numerous different spray heads and at least 6 extra washers for the attachments/spray heads. The battery charged in less than 2 hours and then the sprayer was tested for flow rate/delivery and pressure. At full pressure, the stream easily went 10' in the air. The sprayer was run at full pressure/speed and under load for over an hour and a half straight and the battery still had 50% charge. The battery was removed for charging and was not even the slightest bit warm. When compared to a 2-gallon Kobalt 18V sprayer, this one wins, hands down. This sprayer has a much larger opening for filling, a filter basket to filter out clumps in the case you are spraying something like Diatomaceous earth. It is easier to carry as the Kobalt cannot be used as a backpack sprayer. This unit comes with a simple plug type charger which plugs directly into a port on the battery. This was initially used for spraying weeds along a rock path. Then we cleaned it out and used it for spraying bug repellent along the house to prevent spiders from coming it. The pressure was great. Was looking to see if I could get a replacement nut and find that this is now $20 cheaper and listed like it is different. That's nice though, because you will need thread tape, pliers and luck to assure the leaking is minimal. I love this thing otherwise. Oh, forget extending the sprayer wand, it's not going to seal. It is a great idea, battery is good in my opinion. You just don't want herbicide all over you. ... show more
