I’m really impressed with this rug! My first impression wasn’t great because it looked much whiter than I expected. I was hoping for a warm cream/beige, but it’s definitely more of a cream white. With four kids and dogs, I questioned whether I had made a terrible choice. Once I unrolled it, though, my opinion changed quickly. What I loved: * Incredibly soft and silky underfoot. * Light enough for one person to position and lay out. * Wrinkles disappeared quickly after unrolling. * Stays in place well without a rug pad. * Brightened my room and gave it a fresh, updated look. * Excellent value for the price. Real-life testing: * We’ve already had spaghetti sauce and soda spilled on it. * Most messes wiped up with a damp cloth. * For tougher spots, a little water and mild dish soap removed the stain easily. * Surprisingly, it doesn’t seem to show dirt as much as I expected. A couple of notes: * The silky surface means furniture can slide if you intentionally push it. * I haven’t machine washed it yet. My husband joked that the biggest challenge will be fitting such a large rug into a commercial washing machine! Since it arrived folded into a compact box and isn’t especially heavy, I’m optimistic it will be manageable when the time comes. Overall, I highly recommend this rug. Beautiful rug! I went with the color based off the reviews. It was perfect! It almost looks like it has a slight green tint which was exactly what I was going for. So soft and has just enough cushion. I had a previous rug from rugs USA and this rug put that’s one to shame! Very soft and looks amazing! Also great rug if you have pets. My dog had an accident on the rug and it pooled on top of the rug instead of soaking in. I was able to very easily clean the accident without a stain occurring.

This is a terrific rug - not only is it washable and non-slip, it manages to look and feel much more expensive than it is. Wrinkles were not an issue; within a day or two they smoothed out completely. The pattern truly looks like a vintage rug you might find in a resale shop; it's intentionally faded in some areas more than others. It's also very low pile, so it's easy to vacuum but still feels very soft to the touch and comfy to walk on. Spot cleaning is a breeze - about two weeks after purchase, my small dog had a pee accident on the rug. I didn't find it until an hour or two later and immediately grabbed paper towels to clean it; that's when I noticed the mess seemed to be sitting on top of the rug rather than soaking in. As soon as I placed the paper towel next to the mess, the liquid "ran to" the paper and was immediately absorbed. I was amazed to find that the rug didn't even feel damp where the mess had been. I don't know if this "fabric guard" feature will last after the rug has been washed, but I was very impressed. I'll definitely order other rugs from this company. ... show more

SO SOFT! Pleasantly surprised by how soft the fibers are! Definitely a thinner rug, great for adding accents to a space. Since it’s a bit thinner it doesn’t sit on carpet heavy enough to stay put. But we just anchored it with furniture since we got it larger and it’s perfect. Much cheaper than upgrading the carpet. Would likely work better on hard flooring.
