I recently purchased the Sonomo Blink Outdoor Camera Mount 3PCS, and I have mixed feelings about its performance. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars. While these camera mounts do hold the Blink camera securely, there are a few significant concerns that impact their overall quality and durability. Firstly, the build quality of the mounts feels cheap and lacks the robustness I expected. They don't inspire confidence in their long-term reliability, especially when exposed to the harsh outdoor conditions like the intense sun here in Arizona. Speaking of durability, my biggest concern is how these mounts will fare outdoors over time. The harsh sunlight can be particularly damaging, and I worry that these mounts may not withstand the elements for an extended period. It is possible that they may deteriorate or become less reliable, compromising the stability and functionality of the camera setup. Additionally, the process of tightening the mounts to achieve the desired positioning can be a bit challenging. They tend to move and require extra effort to secure them in place firmly. This can be inconvenient and time-consuming, detracting from the overall user experience. Despite these limitations, the Sonomo Blink Outdoor Camera Mounts do serve their primary purpose of holding the camera reasonably well. They offer adjustability to achieve the desired angle, which is a positive aspect. However, their cheap feel, concerns about long-term durability in outdoor conditions, and difficulty in tightening them without movement are significant drawbacks. In conclusion, while the Sonomo Blink Outdoor Camera Mounts perform adequately in holding the camera, their overall quality and durability leave something to be desired.
