Replaced the cheap zinc barrels with these nice brass compensated barrels. Didn't use the screws and springs that came with because the ones already on it were good. I'll save the screws/springs for later projects. These are nice solid brass, compensated barrel style saddles and should work fine for any Tele bridge that uses these type of saddles to give you better intonation and slightly better tone. ... show more

    • The must have affordable upgrade
I almost skipped this product because of the reviews people had a hard time intonating, saddles wearing out quickly, machined saddles were flipped in the package and thought not have been offset. I must have lucked out... I didn't encounter any of these things. I play the guitar daily and found it holding up beautifully, easy to intonate. I find the brass saddles help the tone sustain and warm it up in a pleasing way. As I pick up more teles I will be buying this product again. ... show more

    • Provided wrench was useless
I had to use my own 1.5 allen wrench. The one provided was loose and slipping and could easily strip out the height adjustment screws. The compensated saddles work well. The Guitar sounds great

I replaced the steel saddles on a LyxPro Tele copy with these. This type leaves the action slightly higher on the high E string. I can always cut a groove in the saddle if need be, but I don't think it'll be a problem. Unless I lost it when I opened the package there wasn't a wrench.

At first glance, these appear to be round UN-compensated saddles (see photo). But that is because (at least with the ones I received) the saddles were placed in the plastic tray upside down, with the opposite side is covered with a printed insert. Once you take them out of the tray, you will see that they are indeed compensated with milled ramps. ... show more

    • They Sent non-compensated Brass Saddles
BUYER BEWARE! The description said "Compensated Brass Saddles" but that's not what they were. Just plain brass rounded saddles. I decided to return them after thinking about it for two days and not opening the package. DIDN'T WORK FOR ME. NO STARS!
