    • Huge lighters
As new they light on the first click, but given all the reviews mentioning that they get harder to light over time- we'll see. The flame control is variable. On one I can get the flame easily adjusted to 1" for my pipe. On another one it's turned all the way down and it's still a blowtorch. The third one has to be turned halfway up for a 1" flame. These things are huge. They aren't really a pocket lighter- they're just too big to be a regular take-along with keys, wallet, change and a pipe tool. They're fine for the patio table or workbench, but just too cumbersome to carry in a pocket regularly. UPDATE: So far, so good. They still all light on the first click, and while the flame control is a little finicky, these are good as patio/deck/firepit lighters. Easy to operate and guests find them easy to use outside. Are used to use this style and brand of tor many many years ago and they were my very favorite. I guess they don’t make them anymore so I have not seen them in a very long time, but I ran across these, and was very excited. I still like them, I like the weight of them, and the way they fit in my hand, and they work well when they work. The only issue I have is the flame sometimes, well, a lot of the time, will shoot up and down and up-and-down and up-and-down, and, it’s very difficult to use when doing that. If I could figure out how to fix that, I would be 100% happy and would purchase these over and over again. ... show more

These are pretty reliable torches. I had one for almost a year and used it every day. It only started having problems after about a year. Would buy again for sure

    • Nice and sturdy
We have had these lighters for almost four years, and use them daily. Most butane lighters don’t last us very long, but these seem to take the abuse and continue to work well. They are always the ones left working, so we reordered some more to put in our camp kit.
