The length of 9 feet is perfect for covering floor to ceiling. I used this to avoid the mess when removing popcorn ceiling. Worked perfectly! The plastic is statically charged which makes it stick to the wall on its own. That's very helpful as it makes it easier to hang up if you're working alone and you need less tape. It took me about 45 minutes to cover the whole room (16x16 sqft). It captured all the dust from the ceiling removal perfectly and clean up was easy peasy. No mess! After removing paneling and installing drywall, I decided to just finish the walls before doing any ceiling work. Now that I’m working on ceilings, I wanted to get plastic to protect the walls from paint splatter. I was just going to get regular plastic sheets, but I saw this. 400x9’ at $20 seemed reasonable. I tried it today and it worked great. It allows you to get the plastic up on the wall, then position it in place. Once it’s close, I put a small amount of tape to hold it. I’ll go back later and tape the entire seam. The other thing I like is you can tape it up and not unroll it fully. This way you can unroll it on the wall when you’re ready to do the work. ... show more

There is all kinds of printing on this plastic and it transfers to the newer painted surfaces if you are using it to cover and paint. I have some lovely orange printing on my new painting because it transferred. Ink side out. But, otherwise this is a big roll and has a good static to it so it mostly holds itself up. Found out ,this stuff is a must when using a sprayer. Used it to cover furniture, fireplace, windows and doorways. It's easy to tape and unfolds almost perfectly. 9 foot length is perfect for covering most doors. Would not paint again without it.

Both price and adhesion were good until I first used. It was damaged. Having mirror cut (about 0.5 inch) on the sheet. About 4 inches away from the side. Couldn't tell how often and how many damages/holes it has but had found about 4 to 5 of them during my first project (less than a 150 ft). Very disappointed.
