This comes in a ziplock bag that you can reuse. When you open it you can smell chemicals from the adhesive tape…..That is a good thing because you know its nice and fresh!     • Smells like a pig without a shower but sticks like white on rice.
Smells terrible coming out of the package- those are some crazy VOCs. But seems to stick to plastic and metal very well. Seems like genuine 3M.

I used this to put lights in my truck topper and that is not a smooth surface and so far its been 3 months and i have been all over the usa and in some extreme heat and my lights are still up. Excellent tape.

    • doesn’t work for cars!!
tried this tape to put a new emblem on my car. cleaned and smoothed the emblem like in the directions, made sure there was no residue from the original emblem on the car, and compressed it on my car for 24 hours. took the compression away and it’s still sticking up (only some parts of the emblem are actually stuck to the car, other parts of the emblem are hovering over the car, glue didn’t keep it on. not enough to keep it on long term and every time i drive or it rains i’m afraid it’ll unstick.). may work for something else, but doesn’t work on cars :( ... show more

We use double-stick tape for lots of things around the house. This brand is outstanding. It's very easy to peel off the backing, and it is STICKY and STRONG so use caution. This tape has a spongy texture to it so it's very effective if you have to "squish" an object into place. This can be used for numerous projects around the house and garage. Affix area rugs to tile or wood floor so they don't move, repair items, use the tape to adhere under cabinet lights, and on and on. I would absolutely recommend this. ... show more
