The media could not be loaded. I had some of those shelves that you mount into your shower. They had the adhesive on them that came from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, they didn’t hold for a very long time. I will and truly believe I followed the manufactures instructions, but the adhesive on the back simply was inferior. My shelves did come loose, but were salvageable. The shelves were completely intact after falling and I didn’t need to replace the shelves. I just needed to replace the adhesive. I definitely wanted some thing with a brand name like 3M that I could trust and feel confident in. And I also wanted something that was available for me to cut to size. I wanted to make sure the adhesion was the entire width of my shelf. Not just in spot locations. Even though this isn’t as thick as some of my craft foam tape, it is extremely strong. It cannot be ripped or torn with my bare hands. I have to use a scissors or a knife in order to cut through this. It has a texture that reminds me more of rubber than foam and is very very strong. As you unroll it one side of the adhesive is revealed and able to be placed on either the product that you wish to mount or to the surface you are mounting some thing on. The exterior has a nonstick material that can be peeled off when you are ready to stick the other item onto it. This is very helpful because I do like to make sure once I have adhered one side I have the opportunity to press and put some pressure on to the tape to make sure it is flat and has no air bubbles and will hold. I also like to let my adhesive cure for a little bit before hanging anything heavy. So the fact that the outside of the tape is still covered and protected from air and dust and other elements that might take away from its adhesive qualities until I’m ready to fix the other item to it. This was also an excellent choice to use in my shower since it is waterproof. It is not going to deteriorate and peel in that condition. This has been working like a charm. Not only do I have the shelf mounted and secured, but I am also able to put some of my shower and bathing items on it securely for the last several months without any incident of it coming loose. It does say that it is semi-permanent. I would definitely lean more so to it being permanent. You can try to remove it by heating it up with a hairdryer or a heat gun and lifting one corner. When you lift that one corner you can pull it down at almost a straight. Pulling it down word rather than outward is very important. I would definitely not expect to put this on a painted surface or anything of Value and remove it without any damage. Some surfaces lend themselves better to the semi permanent features of this. That being said the tape can always be removed, but you may have to do some cosmetic repairs afterwards.

I’ve never had an issue when it comes to 3M anything. I might have to pay a little more but I know the quality is going to be spectacular, so I always stick with 3M products.
