I have a 95+ pound lab heeler mix. She is a MESSY drinker. Our floor needed mopped dry all day everyday up to 10 feet from the bowl the way she drank. It also needed refilled several times a day. This has been a game changer. No more mess and it only needs to be refilled once or twice a day since it is so large. The price is great. One of my dogs drinks water so fast he throws up every single time he drinks water. Not anymore! This bowl is what I've been looking for and I didn't even know this type of contraption existed. We have slow feeder bowls for our dogs for their food but I didn't know there was a contraption that helped with their water as well. This bowl is quality and is easy to fill and maintain. It holds a lot of water which is great because we have two labrador mixes and these boys love to drink! Also, it didn't take my boys very long to figure out how the bowl worked which I was worried about. Love it, we have a very messy old English sheepdog who likes to spread her water all over the house. We’ve had other bowls but all were plastic and develop a disgusting biofilm despite regular washing. The high quality stainless is much more sanitary and very sturdy. Also a cute design:)

    • Doesn’t Slow Drinking, Design Flaw!

This water drinking bowl does not slow the dog’s drinking. The flaw in the design is that the holes are to large and allow too much water in to fast and the puddle you end up with in the disk is as much water as a small dog bowl which completely defeats the purpose of the product. Also take note that most dogs with half a brain will just push down on the disk with their snout or mouth and drink as much water as they want. ... show more

Sick and tired of our black lab leaving puddles of water all over the floor when she drinks. We’ve noticed the dog likes to submerge her entire mouth and nose into the water at times and drips water from her jowls all over the floor. I wanted a bowl that would fit our raised bowl stand, and this one fit perfectly. It holds plenty of water at a time and the dogs used to immediately with no issues.
