  • Good for the price!
USING AN ENDER 3. Basically $11.50 a spool when I bought it at $34.99. I wouldn't say it is cheaper than buying an individual color because you can get black for about $20 or so on Amazon. But to get all 3 colors to try out and make stuff it is a good deal. I have printed a whistle, Darth Vader, a unicorn (as seen on pic) and they all came out good. I bought this pack as my first filament ever when I bought my first 3D printer and I am not disappointed. I have printed at work and in college and with the Ender3 and this filament there is no significant drop off in quality. BTW it came with like 10 sample colors weighing in around 3-5 grams each so if you plan your layers right you can print something nice with the samples. I would recommend this for someone starting out and trying to print in different colors. If you bought the colors individually you'd probably spend $55-65 for 1kg rolls each. These are 500g spools so don't expect to get a full 1kg per color. I feel like they are charging a fair price and it comes with good quality. ... show more

  • Pretty happy with this stuff
New to 3D printing but we've tried a number of materials and their is a big difference in brands. So far, this is the best we've found. It's a little pricey but prints turn out better and usable so well worth it to me. I don't find a lot of stringing occurring and it adheres well to my plate at around 60-65C. Not sure about the 'removal tool'. It works but it's kind of funny in that it bears a striking similarity to a putty knife to me. B) I will say it has been handy and useful as I was using a plastic scraper earlier and this works better. Update: one thing I've noticed is that this vendor doesn't offer individual colors. From what I can see, there is only a red, white, black and blue, white, black page available. That is disappointing as I will need to switch brands to the the colors I want. ... show more

  • Useful Filament
This filament is well produced and wound, but especially glassy and brittle. It's not a high-quality blend of PLA, but it gets the job done and having a variety of common colors is handy.

  • It's really quite good!
I like how this filament flows, it has great bed adhesion, and the prints look very good with it. I am down to the last 10% on my white spool. and I will miss it when it's gone. The red prints VERY nice, as does the black. I did some temp tower calibration tests and honestly I could not tell the difference between 185-215, it was all flawless. 180 and 220 it started to show a few issues but I print at 200 normally for PLA and it's great stuff. great value. I'm printing on an ender3 1.1.4 with a glass bed. BLTouch, marlin. and upgraded part and hot end cooling (petsfang). My hot end and extruder are stock. ... show more

  • Quality filament bundle for the price
Decent filament for a good price, comes in a smaller size than most 1 kg spools so it is useful for multicolor prints or if you change filament often. Using on an Ender 3, have noticed the best prints from the white filament so far although it’s probably just my slicer settings. Would recommend, have fun printing! ... show more

  • Two out of three colors wouldn't adhere to bed
The filament I normally use was out of stock so I decided to try this filament for my Flashforge Adventurer 3 printer, primarily because of the smaller spool size which the printer uses. This is my third 3d printer, so I have a great deal of experience with 3d printing. The good news was that the spool did fit inside the printer. The first spool that I tried was black, and while it wasn't quite as good as the Flashforge filament, it printed without any changes to the printer. At this point I was happy that I'd found an alternative to the more expensive filament. My opinion changed when I switched to the white roll. I switched mid-print, and immediately started having problems. The new white layers pulled the black layers off the bed, ruining that print. Little did I know that was the last print I would get out of these rolls. No matter what I tried, I could not get the white layer to adhere to the bed. I don't know what the deal is with this filament, but it's almost like it shrinks significantly when it cools down from the nozzle temperature. Before the printer could complete a square around the perimeter of the bed, the original side had pulled off the bed. This happened again and again, on a bed that I normally can only get a print to release from by flexing the removable bed. Finally I gave up on the white and tried the red. If anything, the red was worse than the white. The printhead wouldn't get an inch away from the filament, and the filament would already have pulled off the bed. I tried everything: cleaning the bed, using a glue stick, using painter's tape, changing the temperatures for the bed and nozzle... nothing worked. Luckily my normal vendor restocked and first first print with the Flashforge filament was just fine, so the problem isn't the printer or my process. I don't know what the deal is with this filament, but if you read the comments I'm not alone in having bed adhesion issues. Clearly it isn't every color or every roll, because for me the black adhered just fine. But I paid $40 for half a kilo of good filament which is more than twice what I pay for a half kilo of the printer vendor's filament which is already high priced. I'd advise staying away from this filament, it isn't worth the hassle. Maybe if you could buy three rolls of the same color I'd consider it, but since the different colors have such different properties I'd stay far away from this stuff. ... show more

  • Shrink Wrapped PLA.... Oh the life...
The three spools came individually sealed/wrapped along with some documentation and some samples I believe. All in all it was a good buy all things considering. I am having a hard time with a print so I am not sure its this or a setting on my Ender 3 v2. I'll probably buy again. Kevin
