I purchased another brand first, but it was getting jammed constantly. Not only does this one come with three more balls, but it is a faster pitch, so if you are looking for that, this is great. It also can turn directions, we haven’t done that yet, but it’s great that it’s an option! The neighborhood kids love this!

This pitching machine is absolutely fantastic for young players transitioning from tee ball to coach pitch and even for those moving from coach pitch to the early stages of kid pitch. It delivers consistent balls through the strike zone, making it an excellent tool for building batting skills. Performance: While the machine is slightly underpowered and can't be used from the standard pitching mound to the batter's box, you can easily move it closer for effective practice. I found it works best when mounted on a tripod. A standout feature is the adjustable pitch angle, which allows for vertical and side-to-side adjustments—a valuable asset as players advance from coach pitch to kid pitch. Speed: Though the pitches are not exceptionally fast, the speed is decent and suitable for young players still developing their skills. Included Balls: The included balls have their upsides and downsides. On the positive side, they are light enough that getting hit by one won’t hurt, which helps build a young batter’s confidence and reinforces that the batter's box is a safe place. However, the balls are made of hard plastic, which means they don’t fly like real baseballs and feel different when hit. For very young players, this isn’t a major issue since the focus is on making contact and celebrating progress. Durability: The machine’s exterior is made of plastic, which raises some concerns about its long-term durability. However, the internal wheels appear to be made of high-quality materials, which balances this concern somewhat. Overall Impression: This is a fantastic and affordable pitching machine that stands out in its price range. Compared to similar models aimed at young players, its quality and pitching performance are far superior. It’s an excellent investment for helping young hitters transition to the next level of baseball.

Tried with brand new batteries and with the connector that came with it. Heard it move some sort of gear then never did anything else. So I’m going to try by buying another power cord and if not will be returned. For now really disappointed. EDIT: Didn’t end up working for me and I wanted a pitcher pretty quickly so ended up with another choice, but the company did reach out to me to try to help. Which I found quite nice. Maybe will give them another shot with their pickleball machine if it ever goes on sale.

With 3 young boys, dad's arm can get a work out acting as the pitching machine on beautiful Summer evenings--the trouble is, dad's arm isn't always accurate... This pitching machine has made 'playing baseball' a near nightly occasion! The kids love it. Our 7-year old gets the most fun/use out of it. Our 5-year old is still learning the timing involved with swinging at a ball not on a tee--but it's been a blast!
