Ok this is a great starter RC and it is most definitely the price first but the quality is actually right there with it. I buy tons of RC cars and my nephew who is 8 wanted to get into it. 53$ and I have to say it was well worth it. It's max speed is nothing exhilarating but it also stops it from being completely destroyed out of the box this definitely aimed for someone younger than what the box says it's got hobby grade looks and parts but not the unbridled speed that a lot of these minis and other rigs have It is very controllable and with it being controllable keeps it interesting for young ones good buy good find. Even with the throttle trimmed pinned out even at 8 years old he was able to figure out how to control it and kept himself interested through four packs on the first day. Has enough going on under the body to create intrigue for the lil inquisitive mind and to teach responsibility as well.

This is an awesome rc truck for all ages, with great functionality. It is fast and fun for big kids and adults and I can also lower the throttle trim down to make it slow for my toddler to drive it around, even inside. We have been having a lot of fun with this truck just driving indoor at low speeds, with no worry about breaking anything or hurting anyone because of that adjustment capability. When not on low throttle mode, this truck has a lot of power. It accelerates quick and really I am impressed with how it moves, comparable to bring brand hobby rc cars and trucks. The shocks are good too, and seem to have high quality dampers. The size is typical for a 1/18th scale which is good for driving in smaller areas or big ones too. This is my third RC truck, after an axial and tamiya, and my expectations for this were at that level. It came with 2 batteries, charger, and some tools. These were great additions which are not always included in other model RCs. Overall I am really happy with this and pleased to have gotten it at a fraction of big brand prices too.

Ok folks, when I got the car not a single AA battery would work in it. Well it’s because it will only work with 1.5v AA batteries. In all my years I’ve never seen or heard of any electronic device requiring that! Anyways after message to seller and to Amazon they sent me another one, and I had the same issue of the remote not turning on. I was stumped, read the manual again, then finally I read the labeling on my batteries and I see ALL of my AAs are only 1.2v…. Again never even knew this was a thing! So I go get some 1.5 volts (Harder then you think in the Midwest) and BAM remote powers on. Now for the car…. It’s awesome, pretty fast and very powerful. At full speed you’ll roll it easily with sharp turns. Good thing it’s made from metal mostly and very sturdy. I got it for my dogs to chase to wear them down, well they’ve already chewed on it a bit and it still runs great. The trim level on the remote works really well especially for the throttle. So if you wanted to do something other then let your dogs chase and chew it I can see where you’d be able to precisely navigate trials and rocks and such if you wanted. Long story short it’s very fun and seems very well made. I give the car itself 5 stars. I give the listing overall 4 stars just because of the original battery issue. Idk maybe it’s just me that didn’t know this stuff haha. Communication with seller is a bit delayed but it’s good enough with patience, they’d have everything made right for you with time. I’d buy this again easily in all honesty. I’ve used it every day since I figured out the battery issues haha 😁

RC car has been a blast! My son loves driving it around the neighborhood and is very fast. The extra lights on it look really neat at night. Also the step up of having metal axels and better construction than other cars around the same price is a real plus. Especially with a 7 year old who can be a little rougher with it. Is nice that it has 2 batteries too for extra long driving time. Highly recommend. Seller is also very pleasant to work with and quick to respond to questions.

Problem when battery dies and you to replace it’s very difficult for kids to change it out. Requires removing 4 pin clips removing the top of truck then you finally get to battery.

This remote control car is seriously fun and handles all types of terrain with ease. The controls are responsive and smooth, even for my kid to steer. The 2.4GHz remote works perfectly with no lag, even when multiple RC cars are going at once. The bright color makes it easy to spot as it zips around, and it’s tough enough to keep running after a few crashes. Great quality and an awesome gift idea for the holidays.
