I recently took in a ~15 lb foster dog who is scared of everything. I put this crate in the middle of our main living area so she can see everything but also feel like she’s hiding. It has a more closed in feel than a standard wire crate so I haven’t felt the need to cover it to add more privacy for her. I love that it’s soft so when I need to move it around I don’t need to worry so much about hitting things and damaging walls like you might with a wire one. And I didn’t need to use it, but being able to open from the top to pull out (or put in) a scared animal is a nice feature. My issue with this product is it didn’t come with any instructions. I figured out pretty quickly how to pit it together but instructions would have been really nice so I didn’t feel worried I’d break it. And I haven’t tried folding it back up yet. I also wish there were instructions to help understand all the outside clips and buckles. I wouldn’t use this for a dog who is at risk of trying to chew or claw their way out, but for calm dogs it’s a nice option.

I have multiple dogs and we travel a lot, so I'm always collecting crates. This is one of the best made soft crates I've come across. It lies flat for travel but pops up in seconds and once opened, it feels sturdy and solid. It's reasonably light weight for carrying, but not at all flimsy. The details all speak to its quality, from the thick mesh sides to the smooth-functioning zippers and plastic coated carry handle. A good size side pocket provides storage for a leash, treats, a water bottle or what have you. It won't hold a dog determined to claw their way out, but a crate trained dog should do well in it. Really, the only negative is the color, which is light enough to show dirt. Overall, this is a very nice collapsable crate!

This high quality collapsible dog crate is impressive! It's very well made with quality materials. It's very durable and sturdy. The material feels very premium too. It's not only easy to set up but it is also easy to use. The zippers are very good and will not snag. Our puppy is constantly teething (with very sharp teeth). She hasn't been able to hurt the fabric or materials at all. I'm very impressed with this! It's replaced our regular home crate too. Our puppy feels very much at home in it.

The "PETIMBER 30" Soft Collapsible Dog Crate, Portable Travel Dog Crate for Medium Dogs" is a wonderful travel companion for your furry companion. It can be opened and folded back in minutes. It is lightweight and can be taken around easily. This is not meant for transport even for a lighter dog or large cat. If you plan to keep your dog/cat in the car with this carrier, make sure to check the dimensions since it will not fit (without collapsing) into the car. It will fit a van or SUV.

I’ve had many portable playpens and crates through the years, but this is by far the sturdiest one I’ve had. The reinforcing metal bars make all the difference. The fabric is high quality and the ability to use a clasp to secure the zippers is a plus, because I’ve had dogs who managed to figure out how to open the zippers on other playpens. The included cushion is a plus. It’s thin, but soft, but depending on your dog, they may want additional bedding. I highly recommend this sturdy playpen.

This is a very nice sturdy crate with some wonderful accessories, but I found it a little more challenging to set up than I expected. Firstly, I'm certain that I ordered the 30" crate but received the 36" crate. When I looked back at the ad yesterday, the multiple options were no longer there, but today they are. It seems to me that my order may have been confused as it was caught in the middle of some changes they were making to their page. I will address this with the seller, but I will continue to review this based on what I received. I have another crate like this that I find very easy to open but it does not pack down as compactly since the bottom portion of the frame is not collapsible. On the one hand, the ability to collapse the bottom does make it pack down smaller, but with a kennel this large, trying to reach down into it to lock in the frame tubes on the floor is challenging, especially for an older person with limited flexibility. But once you have it set up, it is solid. The canvas is a good thickness and the fact that it comes with the inner blanket is a very nice add-on. So if you have a dog that is comfortable and calm being in a kennel, this is an excellent option, but if you own a chewer or an escape artist, then a wire frame kennel is your best option.

We have three cats that absolutely know, when the cardboard carrier comes out someone is going to the vet. We leave this style of crate around open, so they can go in or out for naps, and when it is time to travel we just zip it closed. With all the room and the ability to see out they aren’t so traumatized, and vet visits are a bit easier as a result. This crate is great, works perfectly. Well made too!
