This cover is a huge upgrade for my Blackstone and does a great job keeping the griddle sealed between uses. At first, I thought it pulled over the top edges, so I assumed it was too small and was almost ready to return it. After checking a few other reviews, I realized it’s actually designed to sit directly inside the griddle surface. Once I figured that out, installation was incredibly simple. It fits perfectly, seals well, and when I remove it for the next cook, there are no spots that need to be re-seasoned. The cover is solidly built, easy to use, and has enough weight to sit securely on the griddle without shifting. Overall, I’m very happy with it.

If you’ve ever tried to keep a Blackstone griddle rust-free in Alabama humidity, you know the struggle is real. We’ve battled rust spots and grime every summer—no matter how well we cleaned or covered it. But this silicone griddle mat has completely changed the game for us. It fits our 36” Blackstone perfectly—like, edge-to-edge, no gaps for bugs or moisture to sneak in. Since we started using it, our griddle has stayed clean, dry, and completely rust-free between cooks. No more scrubbing or re-seasoning every time we go to use it. It creates a nice seal that keeps out dust, dirt, rain, and all the other stuff that Alabama weather (and wildlife) throws at you. Plus, it’s super thick and flexible, so it feels durable but still easy to fold up and store when we need to. We also love that it’s made from food-grade silicone. It wipes clean in seconds, and we don’t have to worry about it cracking or peeling like some of the other covers we’ve tried. Alright so first things first, DO NOT use it to cook. Yes it is food grade so oyu'll be fine if you accidentally do something on it. But it's not meant to be cooked on. As long as you're on a low enough heat it should be salvageable. The idea of this is to keep your griddle from oxidizing or getting contaminated by insects and pests in general. I bought a 28'' variant for a griddle I bought on QVC back in the late spring, and it fit perfectly. With a lil elbow grease it's not to difficult to clean compared to the griddle itself and should last a long time.
