We always had to grab chairs or climb in counters to reach the items that were stored in the farthest and tallest cabinets of our home. After nearly injuring ourselves one day we finally decided to get a reach grabber, and it’s been fantastic! This one has been perfect for us because it’s not only strong (we can reach for heavier items like bottles and packs of toiletries with ease) but it’s also very comfortable to use. The had rubber which cushions your grip when you squeeze. Did I mention that it also folds down to be put away? Yup, you can fold and unfold it for easy storage. I think my favorite part it that the claw/grabber has a textured rubber grip so its easy to grasp onto heavy or even slippery items. Didn’t think I needed a grabber like this… but it has been amazing… and I am so pleasantly surprised with it so far!! Our dog constantly leaves her toys around the house and I’m always bending down to pick them up. Some of her toys are quite heavy… but this things picked them all up like a champ!! My back is going to be saved… and that alone makes me a happy camper! :) I can tell this will also be wonderful for helping me reach things on high shelves. There are certain items on top of high shelves that I need to bring down. And I don’t really want to lug around a ladder with me every single time. So I got this tool. I was able to bring down non-fragile items comfortably, without it toppling over me. If you’re looking for a retractable one, this isn’t it since this one is tri-folded. When comparing this to others I looked through before making my purchase, this one folds into thirds instead of in half, so it's much more compact to store. It's easy to open and close, but also feels secure when fully opened up. I tried picking up socks, shoes, books, toys, and many other items with ease. The rubbery tips are very grip-y without being sticky. The end can also be pulled out and rotated into different angles, which is a useful option. The build quality appears to be durable and plenty strong enough to support what its intended to hold. Over all, I'm very happy with my purchase. After a few days, using this to pick up the living room turned out to be a nice incentive for my boys to clean. They even fight over who's turn it is to use it, which is a nice way to gamify cleaning for them. They also haven't broken it yet, which speaks to good build quality. ... show more

Buddy, you've been talking all the talk about how you want to clean up this town... well talk is cheap! You need to get yourself a trash picker-upper and get to work! What better way to show your love for your community than to pick up trash. And this trash picker-upper.. oh boy... it gets the job done. The media could not be loaded. This reacher has some useful and interesting features that I have not seen before on cheap and free after rebate grabbers I’ve gotten at a local hardware store. It has a magnet built into the grabber head to let you get lost screws, nails, or other metal objects. The head itself twists into 8 different positions so that you can position it to pick up whatever you need, while also having the pistol grip in a position where you can easily use it. It gripper has two hinges on the arm and it will still close and grip even if one or both of those hinges is bent. So you can use it to reach across something with the first portion of the arm, then have the last third of the arm drop down 90 degrees to get down to what you need to pick up. These hinges also have clasps to lock them into position rather than just having to rely on the friction in the hinge to hold the arm straight. ... show more
