    • These are the best I've found!
I use several grabbers daily. Have them all over my apartment. I am handicapped. Arthritis in my hands, shoulders, etc. I thought the grabbers I've had for years were the best. They have lasted a long time, and are still working well. Then I bought a couple others. They didn't hold much weight and one of them broke. The one that didn't break is still useful for lighter items. Note: (You can either buy a set of two long ones in one order, or I bought the set with one long and one much shorter. The shorter one is nice for items to pick up right around my lift chair). So glad I bought these! The shaft is steel. So strong, and can lift quite a bit. The handle is totally encased in a very strong plastic. Top of the handle has rubber for a good grip, smooth underneath, the whole handle feels good in your hand. The mechanism works in the hand very smoothly and is comfortable to use. The actual bottom part that grabs the item swivels. You pull it out, (very easily, I might add), and twist left or right, however you you want it placed to pick up an item. The bottom grabber mechanism is made of really strong plastic, (will hold up), and has rivets, a very good design. Inside the grabber is really durable rubber, real rubber, it grips really well. Easy to clean out too. I would give these grabbers a ten, if I could! I have looked at so many on Amazon, and found these are the best.... .....I did not get this as a promotion from the company, nor am I being paid. I am also not asked by the company or Amazon to rate this device and give it a high rating. I am a person who struggles everyday and needs a dependable device to help me get through it. Buy this..... I know you've read some false advertisements and reviews on Amazon. This review I am writing is not one of them..... I would buy this product again if I need to....ever.     • Sturdy, better than last type purchased
First I got a pair by another maker that are long and segmented. Then I purchased this yellow set Pros- This yellow set is not segmented and so is made from sturdier metal while remaining lightweight for ease of use The pincher ends also work better than the first set as they open and close smoothly, and also due to a sort of flange that picks up items well This set comes in two lengths. The short one is the perfect length to carry on my wheelchair while I’ healing a broken leg. Con- Doesn’t have the little magnet at the grasping end like the old set, but I haven’t missed that as these are so much better at grasping and picking up even small items. ... show more

    • Picks up everything
I bought these for my 85 yr old aunt who has trouble bending and hurt herself pulling clothes out of the dryer. She raved about these and said they were so helpful to her. She uses them for a lot of things. So of course, I bought some for myself. I had a flimsy one I bought at a drug store and didn't really use that much. These are so strong and sturdy and can pick up more weight. They also have good rubber grippers on them. As someone who is getting older as well, I started using to pull the clothes out of the dryer and then pull the basket out of the laundry room, which is small and I have to back out of. Less lifting and squatting for me is great. I'm sure as I get older I will be using more and more for just picking up stuff. And it's nice to have a smaller one for getting stuff out of cabinets or where you need a shorter pole. Only thing that would be really nice on these is to have a hole in the handle so you can hook it on the back of a door or on a hanging rack. I drilled a hole in the handles and put rings through to put hooks on and that works great. ... show more

Very easy to use, can pick up very small items, grabs so much better than my old model. I wasn’t sure of the benefit of the short one but I use it all the time….Getting socks out of the bottom of the washer, picking up items where you don’t have a long length of space etc. I’m very happy with both of these products ... show more

    • Helps a Lot!
Due to back problems I needed some grabbers. These have been a godsend. The grabber ends are sensitive enough that I can pick up small pills and coins. The squeezing mechanism on the handle works easily and doesn't aggravate my hand and wrist arthritis. I chose to get the set with 2 different sizes. If I were to purchase these again, I would buy 2 of the same size. The shorter ones aren't as handy as I thought they would be. My only complaint is that these are not strong enough to pick up heavier items but they work great around the house for most things. If you have mobility issues I would highly recommend these! ... show more

    • Most Durable Reachers/Grabbers on the Market
This particular brand of grabber/reacher is the most durable on the market today. The only part that wears out is the covered wire cord, which wears out with constant use. For some reason you now need to buy the long and short ones together, as the short ones are no longer sold separately. Darn if I always use the shorter ones and they break first! They are so good that with a bit of practice I can pick up coins on the floor. I have one in almost every room in the house, as they are very useful. ... show more

I have used these for several years. They are strong, have a nice wide grabbing part, are lightweight and oh, so handy. I love them so much that I gifted a set to my cousin, wo also is delighted with them.

I’ve owned a few variations of these and this set is by far much better, the ability to swivel the claw, able to pick up small stuff like a penny and also heavier items. Highly recommended
