These are the best acrylic brush markers on the market in my opinion. This 72 color set includes a wide range of values from light to dark making them excellent for many painting applications. They are a little rough on any paper so I coat my paper with matte medium, let it dry, and paint on that surface. I use these to add details to my acrylic paintings as well as creating paintings from start to finish. I've been using them for about 3 months (this is set #2 to keep in the house... my other set stays in the art studio. I have the 240 color set too and I love that I can color match almost anything with it. I would have loved to have received a swatch sheet but was happy to see that replacement nibs included in this set. Overall I am very pleased!

I fully anticipated that there would be streaks but these are so dry I cannot even build up one coat, and these markers look like they have a ton of paint in them, yet its incredibly dry, I have tried tips people have provided, and unfortunately these markers are still dry and do not paint well. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but I would not get again. (BEFORE) (AFTER) Edit here, the company reached out to me and explained that sometimes their pens can be damaged in transit, its rare but can happen, causing the loose caps, or leaking paint. So in returned, they sent me a new pack of markers, and metal pens? They are pretty cool, I did some painting with the new markers, and they work perfectly, there was just one marker that was leaking, but otherwise, they work wonderfully!! Even the metal pens, those are really cool and the flow is great on those too!

They write so smooth, dry quickly, and don’t run out as fast as most acrylic pens do. I would have liked if I’d seen more brighter colors instead of more of the pastels, but overall it was definitely worth the money.
