I really like this dinnerware set. The stoneware plates and bowls have the weight you'd expect for stoneware so heavier than glass or porcelain. The patterns are very nice and the quality is good as well. At first I thought the textured plates would be unusual to use but I found it no different than a smooth topped plate. The larger pasta plates/bowls are my favorite and can be used for any number of saucy or soupy foods. The dishes are easy to clean and have shown no wear from our dishwasher. When our order first arrived we had 3 broken bowls so I contacted Fobenta directly through email. They responded very quickly, friendly and super helpful. Seem like good quality. One bowl was chipped. Per Amazon To get a replacement bowl you had to return the whole set which would have been a lot of work considering all the packaging. So I contacted the company directly and they sent replacements no questions asked. Received the replacements within a week of reaching out. They are great. The customer service was awesome. I absolutely love this dinnerware set! Great color and patterns! I purchased the coffee mugs, as well. They are thick, so not easily breakable. I have used them in both the microwave and dishwasher, without any problems. I did receive one broken plate, although packaged very well, and the company quickly sent replacements. These dishes are great quality and beautiful. The pasta bowl is my favorites. I use them everyday not just for pasta. When I received them there were 2 broken bowls. I sent an email with pictures and had a response the same day letting me know they would replace them immediately. My replacements will be here Sunday only 5 days from sending the email. Nice dinnerware set, but we had an issue with one of the plates cracking with heat. I put 1 piece of freshly made french toast on a plate and in a minute, the plate cracked. Fobenta reached out and gave me a full refund and told me that some of the plates had a small defect. They were very apologetic. Not happy with Forbenta. My shipment was missing one salad plate. E mailed the company 3 times w/o any answer. Decided I’d live with one less salad plate rather than sending whole box of plates back. Then a salad plate “popped” when I placed a fried egg on it and cracked up the middle. Love the look of this set just not happy with customer service or strength of this set. ... show more

The whole set has a high quality texture. Subtle yet elegant. Customer Service is next level. We had a couple of bowls which had a fine Crack which was realized after the initial wash. Emailed fobenta customer service and they were promptly replaced. Would recommend this set or any other set from this manufacturer. Very satisfied with the purchase.
