I bought the 230 gallon in white. Item arrived well packaged with no damaged or missing parts. The box it comes in IS heavy. Instructions were okay as long as you use common sense. The screws are labeled but we questioned which ones to use for the hinges versus struts, but if you count them and compare, it will all make sense. Assembly definitely needs 2 people. It took 2 of us (and a toddler) roughly 45 minutes. You assemble the sides first, then flip upside down to attach the bottom. The bottom has tabs that have to be "beat" into place. I used my fists (one on each side) and each one snapped together. The last corner didn't want to snap into place so I literally sat on it and bounced, and it went in with no issues. Attaching the lid can be tricky. I suggest lining up the center hole on the one strut, then the other, and then do the screws on the lid hinges. I was surprised that the hinges that hold the lid are made of plastic and not metal, but they seem to work. Fully assembled it does become heavy for 2 women to move, but we were able to slide it to where we needed. I comparison shopped for a few weeks before deciding to buy this one, and I am very pleased with my purchase. Once assembled, you can see through small gaps in 2 of the corners, along the bottom sides, and around the lid and hinges, but this is a simple fix with some caulk. (Which I haven't done yet). The lid does not "latch" closed so I definitely recommend a lock or carabiner clip to ensure it remains closed. The divider included only has 2 spots designated, and they are not in the center, which would have been a nice option. This comes with all hardware and a screwdriver, but I recommend having a 2nd one so your helper can help. Lastly, I love that this is thicker than many other options. I had a deck box before that was flimsy and broke during assembly. If you need to store items outside and have limited options, I highly recommend this item. Bonus that it arrived 2 days earlier than expected!

I'm a 69 yr old woman who's fairly handy for my age. I've assembled lots of things over years years but I swear this had the most well-explained directions ever. All the pieces fit as they should. All the holes lined up and I wasn't missing anything. I says you need two ppl for assembly so i didn't tackle it right away but then I decided wth... let's give it a try. Now it's together, I'm really really happy I did and happy I have it. Great size, attractive and very sturdy.

Purchased 10/2024. Assembly was easy. Size was what I needed. However now after only 14 months, one rainy full rainy season it is leaking through the lid. Southern California so we are not talking major rains... Best I can tell there are unseen micro cracks in the lid. I heard water when opened. Buyer beware.........

(230 gal) I gave this box 4 stars because of the water resistance. That said, I have solved this problem and if the company would supply a large tube of white silicone adhesive this box would deserve 5 stars. No this box is not the same as a fiberglas dock box, but it did not cost $1000.00. For the price, this is a good storage solution. While I was assembling I noticed many outside sun streaks shining in areas that would allow water. What I did to take care of this was, to purchase a large tube of white silicone adhesive. Run a small steady bead on all corners including the bottom then with a paper towel in your hand for cleaning hands, run your finger over the bead with your index finger until it shows concave and penetrates into all cracks. I now have a box that is 97% water resistant only able to get moisture through the top.

It's absolutely perfect for me! I have so much garden deccos, that hubby goes nuts when I have to bring them into the house past seasons. This one is holding ALL but 2 Christmas signs as the stakes can't be removed on them + I CAN ADD MORE! :) It was so super easy to assemble. If you are used to IKEA and Sauder furnitures - this is a 5 minutes job. Ok, maybe 7 minutes. It took me 10 coz I had a cat that wanted to help me. The box is sturdy, still let air flow to avoid any bad smell. The corners in the bottom ain't super sealed, so if you get water inside - it can drain out. Super happy with it! I might even get me a second one to have on the back porch...

This looks really nice, it is waterproof. This was easy to assemble didn’t take but a few minutes. This is heavy. It does have a bracket to put a paddle lock on. We purchased for our dock and although very heavy, we went ahead and used decking screws to screw the bottom to the dock decking just in case our crazy Oklahoma winds blows it off into the water. ( we had a grill heavier than this box blow over during a storm) I will say the bottom snaps to the main box. The four sides are made up Of two pieces that fold like a book to make 90* The two opposite sides are screwed together the lid hinges screw on One person can out this together but two make it really quick. It come with a nice screw driver to out it together. You will need a small crescent wrench to hold the little knob on the lock area We are considering the purchase of another for our patio furniture cushions.
