This is perfect for our 2 tiny feral rescue kittens. It was big enough for both but not too big. They are about 3 pounds each now and can comfortably get on and play on all levels. Solid cat tree for the price. Easy to assemble. But it was smaller than I thought it would be. Eventually my kitten grew out of it and we just used it for a scratcher. My older cat loved the top perch! Great that the perch was machine washable too.

I bought the 'laerge' 44" tree. My cat loved her new cat tree immediately. She is old, so I wanted one that was not going to require her to jump too high. The largest distance between "steps" is 20". And I can easily pull up some pet stairs to the side of the cat tree if we need a more gradual incline in the future. I added some soft self warming blankets to the inside of the condos, and added additional cushioning to the top perch as well. There is no padding on the top perch at all, so you really should be prepared to add some foam or a towel or something for kitty comfort. I love that the top perch cover is removable and washable. I also saw a review in which someone added a little pressure-activated electric pet-safe heating pad for their cat. I purchased one as well to use on the top perch and my cat is IN LOVE with it... A great addition for the winter months. I'll remove the heating pad when it gets warm outside. For size reference, my cat is 8 lbs. The top perch and the condos have ample room for her. I think the cat tree could accommodate a cat up to 12 lbs easily, and a 15 lb cat would be ok if they like to curl up in stead of stretching out. The cat tree doesn't take up much floor space... It fits easily in the corner of my room and the perch is high enough that kitty can see out the window. The cat tree seems stable. It comes with a wall anchor just in case, but I don't think we need that (maybe you would need it if you had multiple or rambunctious cats). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This cat 🐈 tower is perfect for cats 20 lb plus and small cat loves it too! It took about 45 minutes for husband and daughter to put together but we'll worth the time. My big boy and my Lil girl went on it immediately! Slept on it all night long. This is quality and pretty. Perfect for bedroom window bird 🐦 and squirrel watching ! Also perfect for my big guy 20 lbs to hide in when daughter brings her dog over. This tower is well made and that's hard to find these days!
