These are solid well made ice skates. They look nice and are comfortable enough. . I haven't found any ice skates that after an hour of skating don't hurt your feet. Definitely size up. With all the cushioning plus the thick socks that I like to wear, I would make sure to do a half size or full size up. I wish it came with better blade protector for the price you pay for the skates. I ordered these ice skates along with a less expensive option. I ended up choosing to keep these as I felt the foot area was a little wider and more comfortable. I do keep the top hook on the boot unlaced as it is a little uncomfortable on my leg with it laced to the top but these are very nice, sturdy, supportive skates. These appear to be fake but at least the return was easy. I am normally a size 8 or 8.5 shoe in US size and wear a size 9 in rental skates. I ordered a 9 based on other reviews and it was too small. Once I stood up, my toes were squished up near the tip. These don’t appear to be authentic Jackson’s. Quality is so-so. They are pretty comfortable, however, comparing them to a standard Jackson boot, they don’t quite measure up. ... show more
